D23's Great Disney Scavenger Hunt: Walt Disney World Resort
Dates: May 12-13, 2011
Following the success of the first Great Disney Scavenger Hunt, D23 is inviting guests to the Walt Disney World Resort for a fun-filled, two-day hunt around the World in spring 2011.

Destination D: Walt Disney World Resort 40th Anniversary Celebration
Dates: May 14-15, 2011
Next year is the 40th anniversary of Walt Disney World, and D23 is celebrating with Destination D: Walt Disney World 40th Anniversary Celebration, a two-day event saluting this milestone year in Disney history.

We'll be there for the actual date-October 1. I have no idea what WDW will do, if anything. We made our reservations before we realized that it was the anniversary, we were planning on the Food and Wine half-marathon being that weekend.

We will be at WDW for the same reason plus our Anniversary.
We arrive on September 30th.

I'll be there! We arrive 9/29 and leave 10/3 satying at the BWV!!!

I'll be there celebrating Disney's 40th and my 40th in June. We will be driving 12 hours each way for a quick 3 night/2 day trip, staying in an OKW studio. Can't wait!!! I will be at Disney's HHI resort on October 1. Not sure that really counts, but oh well!

I'm so excited to read this! Our trip is booked for Oct. 1st - 8th. My DDs birthday is on Oct 4th . DH and I both turn 40 (DH July and Dec for me) this year! We're also celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary ! So much to celebrate! I hope they do something big for Disney's 40th! Can't wait !!
