40th Birthday Need Ideas

Good friend is turning 40 and I need ideas of things to do for him to celebrate such a mile stone in his life. They hooked me up on my 40th with a walker, adult diapers and other items and I want to return the favor but don't want to copy what has already been done. I still have the walker and it has been requested for this occasion but need other ideas of what to do to make him feel the love. Any ideas?

I personally don't get the 'over the hill' stuff for a 40th birthday, but a friend of mine turned 40 last year and he got a bunch of gag gifts that everyone else (including him) seemed to think were hilarious. He got a nose hair trimmer, a bottle of geritol, a bottle of Centrum Silver, and an AARP magazine that I remember.

I was given a coffin, a miniature coffin (it was probably 2 ft long), complete with a fresh floral spray laid over the top.

I also loved the dead plant that had a black pot.

Reading glasses. Kind of a gag gift and real gift at the same time, because most people start to need them soon after they turn 40.

"beano" lol, epsom salt, ben gay, moth balls, reading glasses, magnifying glass, I just turned 40 and these are some of the items I received.

They 'hijacked' some of my pics from kindergarten through current age...and displayed them in a collage. They used my 1st grade school pic on the cake...
