401 days 'till Disney!!! But who's counting?!?! 07/18

Great finds at Target! I have to get to my Target to see if they have that planner lol. I love Target too :)

Yes, you should go to your Target and look for it!! It's a great deal!! I might have to go back to see if they have any more just to stock up and if you guys can't find them, I can send them to you guys! haha:rotfl:
Target is such a great store. The closest one for me is 45 minutes away, which is probably a good thing. It's a safe enough distance to where I won't spend too much money there!!:rotfl:

Jumping in. We are going the same week you are. I thought I started my pretrip report early...you beat me! :)

:welcome: Thanks for joining in!! That's super exciting that you are going the same week as me!! I'm considering changing my dates to the beginnig of Oct. but if I don't, hopefully we'll run into eachother!:thumbsup2:
I tried very hard to wait until the year mark to start my PTR..but I couldn't do it! :rotfl:

I hope you enjoy my PTR!!
Have a great rest of the week!:wizard:

I LOVE the Magic, Memories and You show. It's one of my favorite things ever. So, so cool. I tear up every time :goodvibes

I know!! It was SO good! I can't wait to watch it again! I'll never forget watching it for the first time! It's definately one of the shows that gives you chills!:goodvibes

Oh, man!! That would be a very very bad thing!! :lmao:

Hey Everyone! Happy Sunday!! Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve updated! It’s been a pretty busy week/weekend, but a good one! We went to Church last night, and I have to go to Christmas Choir practice tonight at my Church! I’m pretty excited to be in it! I’m still trying to get Ben to join..but he doesn’t want to! Lol 
I was off Friday for Veterans’ Day and it was amazing to finally have a day off!! I didn’t do much, but I did get my Disney Dooney in and our wedding ornament!! Here they are in all their glory!!

Thanks ebay and google!
I have been watching a lot of Netflix this weekend, and it’s been wonderful!! DH has worked a lot this weekend, so I’ve been watching a lot of chick flicks lately and catching up on One Tree Hill…so that has taken up a lot of my time! Hahaha I’m currently watching an episode right now, but I wanted to update for all of my friends!!:)

Ch 5. EMH MK Style!
Wishes was absolutely wonderful (even though we couldn’t see the fireworks that well) and we were exhausted. That did NOT stop us from staying and taking advantage of EMH that night!! I was still on a Disney high, even if I was extreeeeeeamly tired!
We decided to start our night off with a trip to Fantasy Land!! I didn’t know what to expect during EMH..but let’s just say I LOOOOVED IT!! The crowds were like, non-existent! It was truly wonderful! First up on our adventure to Fantasy Land?? Philharmagic! I had read a lot about it before I went, thanks to my planning book, and I was really excited to see it! And again, I was NOT disappointed!! I can’t even explain how awesome I thought it was!! It just wraps everything Disney into one 3D film! I definitely felt and smelled the magic!! It’s definitely one of my favorite attractions a MK, and Ben liked it, too! I have pictures of us in the gift shop somewhere, but can’t find them!! Sorry!
After that beautiful Disney masterpiece, we decided to try out a definite Disney Classic! IASW!! I knew it was an older ride, and somewhat dated..but I’m just going to say that I loved it!! It was definitely Classic, and it just made me being in Disney World all the more real riding it! It wasn’t my favorite by any means, but I really think it will have to be a must-do every trip!

Whew, look at that line!
I took a lot more than this, but you all pretty much know what it looks like in there!!:) And sorry the picture is blurry, but I really did like the way they put “bye” in all of the different languages!

After our happy boat ride, we decided to visit Pooh! I didn’t know what to expect on this ride either, but again, I loved it!!! It was so cute, and brought back so many memories of watching the TV show when I was a little girl!! It was definitely magical, and the queue was great! Here we are playing in the queue (we are six year olds!)

And here we are on the ride…this picture definitely shows how tired we were. Wow, we were really tired! But we didn’t stop! On to Dumbo!!

Another classic! I was so excited to be riding one of the rides I first think of when I hear the word Walt Disney World. It was just so awesome to be able to ride a ride I have dreamed of riding since I was little and watched Kimmy Gibbler air out her feet on it in Full House! Hahaha I practiced self control, and kept my shoes on, though, and enjoyed it regardless!
After the flying elephant, we(Ben) decided to ride the carousel!! Haha:lmao: I wanted to ride this some time during the trip, but DH insisted on riding it that night! Hahaha He’s so cute!
And here we are riding it!! It was very fun as well!

161-1.jpg

At this time, we were literally sleepwalking through everything, but we had a couple of more rides up our sleeves!!
We headed to Tomorrow land and hopped on Space Mountain! And we literally did hop on it! The lines were not existent on every ride we rode that night, and it was awesome!
164-1.jpg

Space Mountain was AWESOME!! It is definitely one of my favorite rides of ever!! I looooooved it! It’s so much fun, and the detail and the theming is outstanding! This was one of my favorite experiences!! Ben and I had so much fun! This is definitely one of our must-do’s!
After SM we decided to do one more ride, and then call it a night! We decided to try out Astro-orbiter! I know not a lot of people go on it, or talk about it on the boards, but Ben and I had fun!! It’s a great memory! We got on the ride, and Ben let me have the controls and we started flying!! Ben is still convinced that I was going to make us fly out! Hahaha It felt like that a couple of times, but it was part of the fun! :rotfl2:Hahaha It was more of a “thrill” ride than I thought! Hahaha It was pretty fun IMO!
After our brush with death, (haha) we decided that it was time for bed. EMH weren’t over, but were getting grumy, and we didn’t want to snap at each other on our honeymoon! Haha So, we headed to the bus stop! The ASMU bus pulled up almost immediately, and before we knew it we pulled up to our home for the next week! As soon as our heads hit the pillow, we were OUT! What a wonderful first day in the most magical place on earth! I was so happy that I was on my dream honeymoon, with my dream guy!! And that night, I definitely dreamt of the Disney fun waiting for me the next day!:yay:
Up Next: DAK!

To all of my friends, sorry I haven’t replied yet, I’ll try to tonight! If not tonight, but definitely tomorrow! Have a great week friends

For the record, I love One Tree Hill. Whenever I have a day off, I can be found watching OTH on SoapNet. :rotfl:

ISAW gives me nightmares. But I feel like I'm insulting Walt if I don't ride it. I actually like IASW in Disneyland. The exterior is amazing and they added Disney characters to each country they belong too. For example, in the South Pacific part, Lilo & Stitch can be found. It's so cute!

Don't ya just love EMH? Love walking around the park late at night when it's nearly empty!

Oh and loving the Full House reference. That's one of my favorite episodes LOL

I'm glad I'm not alone in my love for OTH!! Man, I used to be so obsessed with that show!! I have seasons 1-6 on DVD and I used to watch them daily! haha:rotfl:

I could see how IASW could give one nightmares! It would definately give my aunt nightmares, she hates dolls! haha
I've been looking into Disneyland a lot lately. I really want to check it out! Ben and I were pricing DLR packages...maybe we'll get to go sometime in the future! I would love to check it out!:thumbsup2

And yes, EMH are awesome!! I didn't know what a difference it makes, but it definately does! It was a lot of fun! I just wish I was awake enough to be able to enjoy it more...even though I still enjoyed it a lot! lol

And that is my favorite episode of Full House, too!! soo good!
Hope you are having a great week!

DLR is soooo different but in a good way. It's small and the parks are across a plaza from each other with makes park hopping super easy. Also some of the 'off property' hotels are closer (and way less expensive!) than the Disney hotels. You could literally be right across the street from the parks. That is unheard of at Disney World. Also when I was walking around Disneyland Park, I kept looking for the castle and seeing the Matterhorn. Sleeping Beauty's castle is SO small compared to Cinderella's. I wrote about it in my TR from last year. You can find the link on the first post of my PTR if you wanna check it out!

Awesome, thanks!! I'm always looking for another TR to read!! :thumbsup2
I can tell from just looking up things for DLR that it's waay different! I hear some of the ride are better as well! In your opinion how many days is best to experience all of DLR?
I'm really trying to make DH take me for our anniversary next year...idk though it'd in 3 months! hahahahaha:rotfl:

I would say 3 days is a good amount of time. 4 days max. You can devote 1 day to each park and then go back, revisit favorites & do anything you missed. I definitely thought IASW, Space Mountain, and POTC were better at DL!

Thanks for the info, girl!:thumbsup2
I've been pricing trips like a mad woman all week! haha I think DH is finally starting to go for it!! So I'm hoping and praying we can figure it out!! I would love to be able to take a mini-trip before the October one!!:)

Hey Guys!!! Sorry I haven't been on much this week! It's been a crazy one, and this weekend will be even crazier!! We are going to Dallas for a family wedding so I won't be on very much at all this weekend! I just wanted to let you guys know that I haven't forgotten about you wonderful people, and I will be back next week to update my PTR and reply to all of my friends!! I hope you all have a great and blessed weekend!:goodvibes

Followed you over from the Oct 2012 thread. Looking forward to hearing more about your trip and counting down the days with you :)

Just got caught up on your PTR. Loved reading about your Disney-moon. We are huge Rangers fans too. I was born in TX and actually grew up a very short distance from the Ballpark :)

 Hi, there!! Welcome and thanks for joining in!!! I'm glad to have people who love Disney as much as I do to count down with!!:yay:

That is so awesome that you grew up close to Rangers Ballpark! I would loooove to live near there! When we go to games we have to drive about 6 hours to get there, but it's so worth it! It's so much fun to go! DH and I are counting down the days until opening day already! haha:rotfl:

I hope you enjoy the rest of my PTR and disneymoon TR!! I'll be updating as soon as I can, it's been crazy busy around here with holiday stuff!!

But I hope you have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving!:goodvibes

Hey Everyone!! Happy Wednesday!! Sorry I haven't updated in a few days, but I'll be on hopefully later tonight to resume my Disneymoon TR, and update on what went on this weekend at the wedding, and my Disney Store trip!! haha:rotfl:

With getting ready for Thanksgiving and work, I have been a little streched for time, but I haven't forgotten about all of my friends on here, and I will be back later on today to update!! Disney is getting closer everyday, and I cant' wait!!:yay:

Also, we MIGHT have a Disneyland trip in the works, too!!!!!! Nothing is set in stone....but let's just say I might be going for my bday in May!!!
The only thing that is really getting in the way of that is the flight prices. If only they were cheaper.......:rolleyes1

Well have a great day, everyone!!
God Bless!

What airport are you looking to fly into? LAX or John Wayne? John Wayne is closer to Disneyland.

Have a happy Thanksgiving!
