401 days 'till Disney!!! But who's counting?!?! 07/18

I'm enjoying reading your Disneymoon TR! You're so excited and enthusiastic about everything, love it. :goodvibes

I'm a huge HM fan. One of my favorite rides! Grim Grinning Ghosts is my ringtone.

I've been on the DIS for years and all of my pictures are huge. LOL no worries!

Thank you!!:goodvibes
My Disneymoon totally got me hooked on Disney World! I can't even describe how much I loved it!

Yes, HM is so awesome! That's cool that you have that as your ringtone! I need a cool ringtone like that! haha!

I am still completely clueless with the pictures! lol I resize them and everything and they still turn out huge! lol oh well, I guess!!

Have a great Friday!

In new to the site but not new to WDW. Im going in Oct2012 also and I cant wait...where do I find your pre-trip report? want to check that out...:cool1:

Welcome!! You found my PTR!! :):) I'm glad you are joining along!! Can't wait to go back to Disney!! That's super exciting you are going in Oct. 2012 too!! I hear it's a great time to go!:thumbsup2

Move your dates to the first week of Oct! Then we can have a DIS meet! :goodvibes

You guys definitely have to ride BTMRR at night next trip. It's a completely different experience.

No Splash? :scared1: I'm actually surprised it was open at all. Everytime I've gone in the winter, it's down for refurb.

I've heard good things about CHH too. I usually eat at Pecos Bill's or Cosmic Ray's when I'm in MK. Maybe I'll try CHH next time.

I'm here, I'm here! So excited to have another PTR for the same dates to follow!

Loving your Disneymoon trip report, easy to see how completely excited you were!

That's is very very cool! I'm very horrible at golf! I tried to play in highschool, and let's just say it was not my calling to be a golfer! haha I did enjoy playing it though!

How hot was it in late August?? Dh and I were thinking about going during late summer '12, but we figured it would be waay too hot!!

And yes, this will be my second trip, and I'm beyond excited about it! I think my DH has already realized that this will probably become a yearly thing we have to do now! I'm completely hooked!:yay:

I'm looking forward to having friends that understand my love of Disney to countdown with! October 2012 can't come soon enough!!:earsboy:

First of all, can I just tell you guys how excited I am that Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, AND Cars comes on today?! So much for cleaning the kitchen! Haha:rotfl:

I hope everyone has been having an enjoyable weekend so far! The time change has really thrown me off. I woke up at 6am, watched some infomercials, and also watched Nanny McPhee. I’ve never seen that movie before; it was actually pretty good! I ate breakfast, and now I’m waiting for it to be an acceptable time to eat lunch… haha I’m hungry! Well, it’s 11:30 now, so I guess it’s acceptable!

This weekend I went with my mom and little cousins to go see Puss in Boots. I really really liked it! I was a little hesitant before we went in, but I really enjoyed it! It kept a 3 and 6 year old enthralled for an hour and a half, so there ya go! It was very funny, and I really do recommend it! I would like to take this time and say, I would definitely choose a “kids” movie over a “grown up” movie any day! And due to the lack of photos in this post, I’ll add this for your enjoyment!

Shout out, Google!

After that, I met up with Dh and we were off to Target! I have a love/hate relationship with Target. I love it because, well…it’s Target, and it is wonderful and is full of wonderful things! I hate it because I could easily spend my whole paycheck in there! Hahaha:lmao: But, thank God for self-control!
We went so I could find a dress and shoes for a couple of weddings we are going to be attending soon, and I love the clothes at Target. This is what I got: (excuse the face haha. I took these so I could show Ben to see if he liked it)

I was feeling quite proud of myself walking to the register with two items; the only two things I had on my list…nothing more! Then, out of the corner of my eye, I spied MICKEY!!!! I have been looking for a 2012 planner for a while, so I can write down some Dr. Apts. I already have set and start counting down for our DW trip, but I hadn’t found one that I liked. Well, that changed! I found a Mickey Mouse 2012 planner! And you want to hear the best part?! It was $1.00! Target is great! So here it is in all its glory:yay::
disneyplanner.jpg

So, after adding that to my basket, and checking out, we headed out and were off to Church!

That’s all I have right now, I’m going to go grab some grub! I’ll continue with our Disneymoon later on today! I just wanted everyone to know about my exciting find today at Target!
Have a great rest of your Sunday, and God Bless!

Thank you, thank you! I was quite pleased with my purchase! I still can't believe it was only a buck! :cool1:
I'm so sad for you that there is no Target!!! :guilty: I hope you guys get one soon! And that sucks you can't even order from the website! I don't know what I would do without Target and its awesomeness!

I can't wait to start using it, and writing down the days 'till the trip! hahaha

Love the planner! So cute...

Sounds like you had a great weekend :goodvibes

Thank you!:goodvibes I love it! And I did have a great weekend! Weekends are always too short, but I'll definately take what I can get! lol
And this week, we have Friday off for Veterans' Day!! So it's only a 4 day week, not too bad!

Have a great week!:)

It was hot. I took about a day or so to get used too and to hydrate accordingly. With that being said, I know it made my trips to the pool, waterparks, and water rides alot better!! Now that im older and I havent been there (except for a day trip which im not going to count) in years, I know I would appreciate the dining and the rides more but thats me. When its that hot you cant spend all day in the park and if you do, by the time dinner comes around your shot. Or atleast I was and my brothers and cousin were too! So its been a few years and things have changed there and im older and why not, lets go at a different time?!?!

:cool1:

I bet it was hot!! I will definately have to have a waterpark day or two thrown in the mix whenever we go during the summer! I'm not sure when I can talk myself into going in the summer, but I know I'll go eventually! haha

I never went to DW when I was little, I always wanted to, but growing up, we just couldn't afford it..which is fine! I think because of that I appreciate getting go even more! I would have loved to experience it as a child, but waiting until I was an adult definately has its advantages as well, and it's still wonderful and magical!:wizard:
I am personally very excited about F&W!! I just think the atmosphere will be super fun, and not to mention the food...and wine! haha Are you going to be attending a MNSSHP? DH and I are. And I can not wait!! I'm such a kid! hahaha

Hope you have a great Monday!

Great finds at Target! I have to get to my Target to see if they have that planner lol. I love Target too :)

You got to excuse me im a newbie and dont know what a MNSSHP is?

I understand about not being able to afford it. Up untill my family's first trip we couldnt afford it either. At that time my dad was working and for those few years we could afford to go. But times have changed and when the economy started to turn my dad's job was one of the first to go. We have a family member who lives 20 mins from Disney and this Sept i got to stay there and we hit up Epcot AK and MGM. So after then trip i decided to start saving up. I might even be going solo and meeting some friends from HS that moved down there. Im really not sure yet. Im waiting to hear back for about this golf tournament is, when the exact date is so i can schedule accordingly

Hey, everyone! I know I promised an update on my Disneymoon TR on Sunday, but I simply ran out of time! I’m sorry! But I’m here now, and I only have an hour ‘till I have to be at work (I go in early this week) so this might be a short update, but an update nonetheless!
I hope everyone’s weekend was great! I ended mine by watching Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin! I also ventured to disneystore.com and thanks to the awesome info from Heather, was able to get my purchases for 25% off!! And since what I got was over $75 I also got FREE shipping! I was so excited!! I finally caved and got a Disney Dooney!!! :yay:(Well DH got it for me because I was having an internal battle about getting it! Lol) It’s a cross-body bag, with the sketch design! I’ll post pics. when it comes in! I also purchased a “just married” Mickey and Minnie Christmas ornament, since this will be our first Christmas together as a married couple!!
Now for the exciting part…both of those, with the discounts…cost less than just the purse had originally cost!!!! I saved around $50 dollars! Wooohooo! Thanks, again Heather for the heads up!
Okay, now to the super fast update!!!!

Ch. 4 Sleepwalking through adventure land!
By this time, we had food in our bellies, and had been up since 4:45..so we were BEAT! But…this was Disney World…my first time to Disney World. So, I was not going to give up that easily on my first night!! So we pushed on…To Adventure Land!!!
I was super excited when we got to Adventure Land! It was so awesome!! Just the atmosphere made me so excited to be there!! Again, the theming is impeccable!
093.jpg

Our first ride in AL!!! It was practically a walk on, so soon enough we were flying on our own magic carpet! OMG… I. love. this. ride. I know it’s a “kids” ride or whatever, and it’s not by any means a “thrill” ride. But, DH and I had SO SO much fun! I love Aladdin, so that might have a part to do with it, but whatever it was; we had a blast! We even rode it again later in our trip, and you better believe we’ll ride it again on our next trip!! 
094.jpg

And here is DH walking ahead of me because he didn’t know I was stopping to take a picture…that happened a lot! Haha But I LOVED the detail!
It was getting close to Wishes time, so we decided to ride one more ride! And let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed!! <3 (okay, I pretty much wasn’t disappointed with anything during our trip if you can’t tell!)

Cute!
I had read up a little bit on POC, so I knew a little bit about what to expect from it, but just experiencing it in real life was so awesome!! It felt like you were immersed in the story! I really enjoyed it, and we were definitely coming back to ride it again!! Btw..this was a walk on as well!:)
After we shivered some timbers, we headed to the castle!!

Okay, so I had no idea the castle changed colors..so you can imagine my excitement! I was amazed!!
It is magical in the day, sure….but at NIGHT it’s magical times 1000! I love the feeling seeing the castle at night, and just knowing you are in the most happy place on earth! I remember looking at it that night and being so excited that I still had a whole week to look forward to!
115.jpg

Us in front of the castle, even though you really can’t see it! But you can see the look of exhaustedness in my face…and the excitement!!
123.jpg

Then we had a very nice couple offer to take a picture of us in front of the castle!! ( I think he forgot the castle! Haha) But that’s okay! I still love the picture, and we all know what the glowing pink thing is in the background! ;)
Okay, so this is where Disney newby mistake #1 comes into play. Don’t get too close to the castle for Wishes….or you won’t see the fireworks! We staked out realllly close to the castle, and while it was so awesome being so close and hearing the music and everything…we didn’t see much of the fireworks. But we DID get to see the Magic, Memories, and You show very well! It was great!! I’m sure I got goosebumps!! I even did during Wishes, even though I couldn’t really see everything! The music alone is soooo awesome, though!
I’ll never forget watching it for the first time. It was pure magic. I was in Disney. With my husband. God had truly blessed me! The little girl in me returned, and I was in a fairytale!
I took video of Wishes, but I’m not sure where it is at the moment…but we have pretty much all seen it, so....lol
So, I’ll leave you with a picture I took during M,M&Y show. Love the projections on the castle!
130.jpg

After that moment of pure magic, you would think we would head off to bed since we were so tired. But, you would be wrong!! It was EMH tonight at MK…and you better believe we stayed!!
Off to Fantasy Laaaand!!!
P.S. to all of my friends on the boards…I will be replying to you lovely people later on today!! Have a great Tuesday!

Jumping in. We are going the same week you are. I thought I started my pretrip report early...you beat me! :)

I LOVE the Magic, Memories and You show. It's one of my favorite things ever. So, so cool. I tear up every time :goodvibes

Oh, I'm so sorry!! MNSSHP is Mickey's not so scary halloween party. Sorry for the confusion!!:goodvibes

I'm sorry to hear about your dads job! I know it's definately a stressful and rough time! I had the hardest time trying to get a job after college. It was almost a year until I found one that was better than my coffee shop job, and it still has nothing to do with my college major!! haha:rotfl:

I think it would be very dangerous for me to have a family member that close to Disney. I think they would get sick of me pretty soon! :lmao:
I have thought about a solo trip one of these days! I think it would so much fun and a unique traveling experience!

I hope you have a great rest of the week!:wizard:
