Star Wars was released 40 years ago today.
I was a mere 13 years old when I saw it that year. It wowed me. I remember watching it several times that summer sometimes sitting through multiple showings. I bought the soundtrack records and played them until I wore them out. I still have it as well as soundtrack records from the next two Star War movies. I still collect Star Wars stuff most recently in the form of Lego items. To me its still as good today as it was 40 years ago.
