$40 off coupon for a weekly rental from Alamo

On Alamo's website right now there is a $40 off coupon for a weekly rental of a compact - luxury car, minivan, SUV, or convertible. Offer good for rentals picked up before 1/13/07. Must rent for at least 5 days.

I just changed ours to get our rental car for $163 for a midsize car using the $40 coupon and the Walmart discount from Mousesavers. I'm quite happy since when I first started looking, the cheapest I had found was like $195 for Thrifty.

Just in case it will work for others, I used the $40.00 coupon and the prepay and saved more than with the walmart code. Im going to go ahead and book the prepay so worst case it will cost me the $5 cancellation fee if it goes down. I have been watching for quite awhile and this is the best I have found. 10 days compact= $188.84 everything included. I found the reciept from August '06 rental 9 days $117.00, dont think ill be able to get that cheap this time.
