40%club level deluxe WL pin

I have a family of 6, currently booked wilderness lodge club level deluxe room in april, received a 40% code in moms name but my email , disney said I could use the pin if there was a room available (big email/name mixup but Disney graciously allowed me to keep code)
BUT
There arent any deluxe rooms that I can use the code with. Disney told me they do not allow delux club level rooms to have codes applied to them because they always sell out. They told me I could go with 2 standard club level rooms...savings of $885 with the 40% code. not such a good savings, & we were really looking forward to our first Disney trip that we were all in the same room.

I was wondering if there are any people out there that were able to apply ANY code to a delux club level room, at WL. I'm holding out for the 4/3 deal hoping I will get a code & better yet I will be able to apply it to my current ressie.
All of the experts....what do you suggest I can do? We prefer to stay in 1 room at wilderness lodge. TIA

It seems likely that if you can't apply the 40%, you won't be able to apply the 4/3 either. If there are no rooms of that category available now, they won't need to have the pins or 4/3 work for those rooms. Sorry

What are my other room options without going to villas? Would really like to stay w/consg. club level.

Still hoping.....that Disney does include delux club rooms in upcoming offers.

I recently used a 40% pin on a club level room at Grand Floridian (late May - early June 2010). Perhaps it's just the dates you are looking for that are not available.

they can be included. we booked AKL CL with a 40% pin for May. it just depends on what is available for your dates with your code or deal. i know you want to stay at wilderness lodge, butwould you be willing to switch to a different resort? you can always call and see if another resort has club level available with the pin/code.

i think your problem will be that you want a deluxe room (I assume because it fits more people?) so you'll have to find a resort that allows the amount of people you need.

Yes disney allows codes to be used on club level rooms, but I am wondering about the club level DELUXE rooms. Not sure what the difference is except 6pp fit in it. I was offered to apply the code to standard club level at WL but that means we will be in two different rooms again. my questin is regarding club level deluxe rooms & code availability.

why does it matter if they do? you can't apply it to the room you want. its not available. you've been told that. i'm sure people have gotten deluxe club rooms with the code, but its not available for your times.

even if the CM you talked to was wrong about in the past being able to book deluxe club rooms with the code, that has nothing to do with your situation now. you've been told its not available. you can call back and keep asking, but i'm sure if they were all booked before the code at rack rate disney isn't going to lose money by allowing the code to be used for exisiting reservations.

i don't understand what you are trying to do. are you going to call disney back and tell them that someone on a message board told you they booked a deluxe club room with a pin code and therefore you should be able to also?

I read a Disney travel agent mention that in over 7 years in her line of work, she had NEVER seen a DELUXE ROOM AT THE WILDERNESS LODGE available with a discount. Ever.

A big reason for that is that those rooms USED to be called Junior Suites, and they are, in fact, set up like a suite, with a separate living room area, closed off from the main bedroom by french doors. In addition, they sleep 6, which is more than most true suites at WDW! They are in VERY high demand.

If the "separate room" part isn't the specific reason why you booked the Deluxe room at WL, be aware that discounts CAN be had at:

-Boardwalk Inn Deluxe room (club level, sleeps 6, but is "all one big room").
-Beach Club Deluxe Room (only sleeps 5, but otherwise, same setup at BWI)
-YC Deluxe Room (has a separate sleeping and "parlor" area, but only sleeps 4).

Its about the same price (or cheaper) than 2 non-CL courtyard view rooms and we would be traveling with 6+1. I was even going to call today and reserve. Looks like its back to the drawing board.

What I am trying to do is
1) stay in 1 room together delux or another type rm
2) apply a future code to my current reservation if one should be offered
3) just want to know if Disney EVER put a code out for a delux club level room. If they have than there is still time to hopefully get one that I can use, If they have not than so be it, disney just doesnt discount that level room.
I though that my question was quite clear in my previous posts but reading back through I think maybe it was not understood

do they have two standard club level rooms that are connecting? we've stayed in a two bedroom deluxe club level room before but have only booked off season to save some money that way but haven't seen a code for that type of room, have only seen the discount codes for (and am currently booked for) a standard club level room.

I also wanted to use a PIN for a deluxe club level room but they said those room types weren't allowed for the PIN code. BUT they would allow it at the WL Villas and in a 1 bedroom villa. It was a good deal although I haven't booked it yet. Someone else told me the 1 bedroom villa is 757 sf while the deluxe room is only 500 sf! (even though they both have 2 'rooms'). I don't think I'm as big on the concierge part though because I could spend all that money on dinner reservations or a grocery delivery or even table service! I'm definitely going to go with the bigger villa 1 bedroom and not worry about concierge this upcoming trip.
