Hey all, my husband and I booked a boat to view the NYE-version of the Wishes fireworks on the 30th of this month from the Seven Seas lagoon. These are the same exact fireworks that are shown on the next day, the 31st (we like to see these at MK on the 30th and then see the Epcot ones on the 31st).
The boat holds 8 but we'd like to keep it at 6, so it's $79 per person, plus tip (whatever we decide that's appropriate, we can split that 6 ways). The boat departs the Polynesian an hour before, at 10:50pm, to view the fireworks which start at 11:50pm. Music is supposedly piped to the boat, promises to be a great experience with really the best view you can get, with no crowds!
