I woke up this morning thinking that the end is nigh and I'm not ready for the holiday to end!

It was absolutely wonderful waking up at the Poly!

DDs woke up and went to play on the beach while we got breakfast ready in the room. They loved the beach and spent a while waving to people on the ferry boats travelling to MK from TTC.

After a lot of deliberation, we decided to go and Sea World again as we are getting a bit “parked out”, and that we’d missed so much last time we went.

We had breakfast in the room, or rather on the beach, and arrived at Sea World at about 10 am.. Is it me or is it still sooo hot and humid here again

Ok, straight over to Kraken and there’s no queue. WOW, what a ride and that first drop is great!……but it’s just let down a bit by the spartan theming. The ride is also quite long compared to other coasters though.

We went over to the penguin encounter which the girls enjoyed, and back to Shamu’s show as the girls really love the show. Loads of seating spaces available, although we do not go in the splash zone! Very moving again, even for the second time in a few days!

Decide to head over to the hospitality centre (surprise surprise!)

Why do they put these free beer places as far away as possible?

So many people must miss going there! Oh, I suppose I've answered my own question there!

We found it anyway!

Stopped for lunch (YUK!) and headed over to the Clyde & Seamore show. They’ve certainly re-vamped this set since we were last here!

The show was really funny and very popular – you’d have to get here early as it was full at about 10 mins before the show started!

We went to the “Terrors of the deep” display just to get out of the heat! This is very effective especially with the sharks overhead – :earseek:

Stopped by the Stingray pool on the way out but it’s so hot that we push off to Wet n Wild at about 2:40. – I’m not sure if we will ever go at the end of May again if the heat is always like this!

Wet n Wild is quite crowded by this time but the worst thing is those blessed pink hoops in the wave pool! – people just don’t look where they are going and DDs were getting knocked about all over the place! – I just wish that they would ban them from the pool! I'm surprised that there aren't any accidents or worse really.

Laura struggled to rise to the surface after one incident.

(It can’t be easy for the lifeguards to keep an eye out for everyone under those circumstances).

We left at about 6:45 and went to Chilli’s on I-Drive this time.

DD’s had kids meals – Pizza & Chicken and chips, and we had a peppercorn burger and fries. This is absolutely delicious honest food and great service. Total including drinks and beers $24!!!!!

You really must check this place out!

We stopped off at Lake Buena Vista factory outlets for some bits from GAP and head back to the Poly. I’m still excited about this place and still can’t believe that we are here!

So, we unpack, open the patio doors to stroll along the beach to watch the FiS fireworks from the seat swing. This really is magical and much better than being at MK. The only thing is that you can’t hear the music but hey!

I really, really did catch some magic here tonight – made me feel really choked up!

We waited a while, then the Electrical Water Pageant arrived – DDs were so excited as they didn’t know it was coming.

Camera and video users please note: - I dashed inside the room and grabbed my SLR and video camera. I tried to film but NO! – I checked everything but it wouldn’t work????

Eventually I noticed a small light which said “DEW POINT INDICATOR” – oh dear! This meant that there was some moisture in the camera. This was caused by the camera coming straight from the air-con room into the heat and humidity! – Doh!

The same as true for my SLR! – Ho hum, perhaps we’ll have to come back another year then! – LOL

Back to Wintersummerland to round off the day and we played Summer this time. It was great but not cheap at $37 for all of us. DDs are a bit hyper again after all of the fizz and get talking to the CMs as they engage in pin trading. We had a long talk with them about pins etc and they give DDs a lollipop and a “I’ve had a hole-in-one-derfull” time at Wintersummerland sticker each.

Back to the Poly and grabbed a couple of snacks and soft drinks at Captain Cook’s, and a beer for me from the pool bar.(Note here, they card up to 30)

(Note from Alison: They didn't bother you then Shaun!!!)

We strolled around the main pool and walked down the beach back to the room. Coooool! - :SMOOTH:

DDs said “Why didn’t we stay here for the whole 3 weeks?”……hmmmmm!

Finally got to bed at about midnight!

What a perfect day!

Tomorrow: Poly, MK, Concourse Steakhouse

Another great report. I`ll be sorry when you are finished.

Well,

One more day to go and some final thoughts.

Next day is GAY DAY!
