I believe that a yum hops would work here!! There are some quite interesting foods on here.

I will no way try Beverly!!!

Great updates!!

It was pretty cool seeing people actually "in" the bog!

I thought you might like the Duffy one!!

Every menu had something that would have been fun to try.....but we had to be picky if we were going to make it past the first couple stations......lol

Well.....if you go to WDW.....you have to at least take one itty bitty taste.....but do it first so you can use the others as a palate cleanser!! :rotfl2:

As we continued our way around the world......we made a stop in AUSTRALIA!

We used two snack credits here for the Lamb Chop & the Pavlova. First was the Grilled Lamb Chop with Mint Pesto and Potato Crunchies. Mike liked this a lot. I took a very small taste.....mainly I tasted mint....but the pesto was good.

Next was the Pavlova which is a Crispy Meringue Shell with Fresh Berries and Vanilla Custard. We all were afraid the meringue would be almost chalky....but it wasn't. It was so good & it just melted in your mouth. Very sweet, so actually sharing this dessert was a good idea!

Our next land was MEXICO. We love Mexican food & Mike is a really good cook.....so we decided not to use any of our credits here.

I did pay out of pocket for a Mango Habanero Margarita. Yum! I could have drank the whole thing....but then I remembered that I have an issue with tequila and horrid chest pain. So since I didn't want to experience that.....I let Mike drink it up for us!!

The pyramid that houses the little shops, crafts, San Angel Inn Restaurant and the Gran Fiesta Tour.

Inside the pyramid.

Tequila!!

Some of the Mexican wares for sale.

Crystal figurines and such.....so pretty!!

Love the Cinderella stuff!!

A look at the San Angel Inn Restaurant. This was the restaurant I had chosen last year for our Candlelight Processional Dining Package....but we didn't get to go on that trip last December. I think it would be neat to sit inside with that view!! But limited time & lots more food to taste.....we weren't able to dine here this trip.

The Gran Fiesta Tour & the Three Caballeros.

One more of the restaurant before loading our boat.

These were all taken on the ride.

This totally reminded me of It's A Small World!! lol

We were able to walk on this ride. I enjoyed it....and who doesn't love the Three Caballeros??

One more look inside the pyramid.

Ah Mexico, my favorite country!!

I love the Gran Fiesta Boat ride

Great ride shots :goodvibes

Mexico is colorful and also most familiar to us. Derek has been to Mexico for a missionary trip and my oldest brother has been a couple times. The cuisine is my favorite hands down!! I could eat Mexican food every day!!

After leaving the pyramid, I found Donald!!

Mike noticed that the Swan & Dolphin Hotels were across the water from us. I still say those are the UGLIEST dolphins!!

Next Food & Wine booth was SINGAPORE. This booth has Derek's favorite dish from last years, so we used a snack credit to get the Mahi Mahi.

The Mahi Mahi on Jasmine Rice & Singa Sauce. Derek was right in liking this dish.......Very Tasty!!

The next land was NORWAY.

A Stave Church.

Akershus, which is a princess character meal serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. Word is.....if you can't get a Cinderella's Royal Table reservation that coming here is as good (some like it better).

The Kringla Bakery........so many tasty treats!! We didn't try anything (at this point, we were thinking we needed another day to even begin to sample all the goodness in the World Showcase).

Oh I can imagine! I think that I would need more days just to sample the food in EPCOT. And drinks!:goodvibes

This is adorable!!

This is adorable!!

We never were hungry this day & we wasted a lot of food.....just too much!! (in fact we forced ourselves to eat the next couple days.....the amount of food was just overwhelming!)

 Awwww shucks......thanks! I loved seeing Donald!! (ok, I love seeing ALL the characters!!)

Loved the pork belly and black beans too...

YAY Donald...what great pictures with him.

I think that is the ugliest dolphin too...it looks more like a fish if you ask me. But I would love to stay there!

Donald was a lot of fun!

It really does look like a fish......

Love the pics with Donald. So cute !!

We love Akershus :) good eats!!

Great photos! Love seeing all the foods you got to try and the menus of stuff to choose from. Maybe if we ever go again, we will go during that time of year!

Somehow we completely missed the inside of the Mexico Pyramid! I think for some reason we didn't think you could go inside. Turns out we missed out on a lot!

Love the photos with Donald. :goodvibes

You are bringing back memories of the F & W Festival, love all the pictures of what you tried! It all sounds so good! :stir:

One of my favorite rides in Epcot is the Mexico boat ride. It really reminds me of Small World too! Did you get to see the 360 view shows in France & China? I love those, sort of a Soarin' but you are standing and it's all around you!

Thanks for all your work with this TR, I know how much time that takes! Looking forward to the rest! :hyper: ::yes:: :bitelip:

We picked a good day to go.....the crowds were pretty small. We were able to walk onto things that usually have FP's. Getting to sample some different foods (without ordering them at a meal & then finding out if you like it or not) was fun!!

You didn't go in the pyramid?? I knew about the Gran Fiesta Tour before arriving.....it was on my list of must do's!! Well it will give you something to look forward to next time!!

We pretty much liked everything we tried.....least favorite was probably the Beef Empanada. Just nothing special to it.......

We didn't do the films in France or China. We probably could have gone back to them once we made the trip around the world......but we ended up going back up into Future World.

We headed to Maelstrom which is another boat ride. Derek pointed out to us that this ride actually was a test of the tracks that you can go reverse on & change direction. As you ride it you come to the end of the line (where you look out thru the rocks to the people below) and then you go backwards & change course. This is the same technology that is used on Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom.

These were taken on the ride.

After exiting the ride, you exit into the gift shop & the Norway wares for sale.

Some of the items on display.

We walked on the Maelstrom (again, another FP attraction).

We left Norway and came across the CHINA Food & Wine station. We didn't get anything from this one.

We then entered China. The buildings were beautiful!

The tranquil pond.

More buildings.

Inside the building/ceiling.

Some of the wares available.

Took this as we were exiting China.

We didn't do the movie here....we were afraid of running out of time.

Next F & W station was SOUTH KOREA. Again, we didn't get anything.

Next Food & Wine station was AFRICA. We didn't get anything from this one either.

The Africa area was mainly shops.

The CHEESE station for Food & Wine. We didn't try anything from here.

Brewer's Collection. Now if we weren't eating (all day)....I might have tried one of the beer flights.

Food & Wine's GERMANY.

We got the Apple Streudel to try. Yum! We paid out of pocket for this one.

Looking across the lake again.

Germany was next.

Looking across that lake again!!

Karamelle Kuche is a caramel lovers paradise!! Oh my goodness!!! We picked up a Dark Chocolate Caramel with Sea Salt, Milk Chocolate Caramel with Sea Salt & a Peanut Butter with Caramel Cookie. We also picked up a bag of Werther's Sour Apple Caramels.

Christmas shop.

Germany wares for sale.

Ummmmmm, Swarovski Crystal Castle......Yes Please!!!!

Did you notice the $37,500 price tag?????
