4 Parks + 5 Staples in the Baby's Head = 9 Magical Days!! (9/17 The Last Hurrah!)

Dear Her Royal Highness Rayna~

I saw your regal portraits recently, and wanted to tell you how stately and elegant you looked whilst visiting your friend Cinderella's Castle! Your gown and diamond tiara were very appropriate for attending a royal event- thank you for sharing with us! I imagine Cinderella was a lovely hostess. Did her servants make a nice royal feast for you?

Remember, it is very important to always act like a Princess now. Be kind and gracious to people, they will treat you like royalty more than if you don't. princess: princess:

Your fellow Princess, Liesa

Great letter Liesa - I'll have to let Ray read it tonite!
And I've definitely been using our experience along with the Princess Tea Party CD to get her to use her "manners and etiquette"
You'll see more reasons why the experience sunk in later in the report.
Speaking of the report, I hope to get to the Castle update tonite!

I've been reading for the last 3 days on and off. Loving the TR and all the pics!!:thumbsup2 Can't wait for our trip in 2 months!!:cool1:

Our kids are similar in age and we went 2 yrs ago and had a ball too!!:dance3:

Sorry to hear about x's accident!!:sad2: But glad he was able to enjoy himself, they do bounce back quickly don't they?:yay:

Looking forward to more!! :goodvibes

When we got to the castle to meet the girls, I nearly walked by my own daughter.
Had my wife not been standing there, I would never have recognized her.
She was gorgeous! I couldn’t get over how just different she looked.
This was no longer my daughter – this was a royal princess and I told her so.
“You’re a princess! Now they’ll definitely let you into the castle!!”
Here’s a shot of my little princess princess: by the mural outside the Royal Table:
Disney2008883.jpg

I tried to get a picture with both my princess princess: and my pirate pirate: but the backlighting was too much.
So I had to settle for an entrance sign to the restaurant:
Disney2008886.jpg

We checked in for our 9:25 appt (it was around 9/9:15 or so) and were given a slip and then told to wait on line for pictures with Cinderella herself.
DD saw her taking pictures are was quite excited.
To appease DS (who was now even more jealous after seeing his sister and hearing the fuss we made),
I pointed out the knights and took some “boy pictures”:
Disney2008887.jpg

Disney2008888.jpg

The lobby of the castle is amazing and looks just like you would expect a castle to look.
Complete with coats of arms, knights, and swords, the architecture and decorations were awesome!
Disney2008891.jpg

And for those with a keen eye, we were able to spot Cinderella’s little cohorts themselves, Jacques and Gus Gus!
Disney2008892a.jpg

Soon enough, it was our turn to meet our princess host.
Since we had enough people (I believe “enough” equals more than 4), we were informed that we would receive two portfolios!!
The CM asked if we would like one with just the princess and one with the family.
We thought that was a great idea.
So our little princess in her Cinderella dress walked up to Cinderella in all her glory.
I snapped a quick shot on my camera…
Disney2008894a.jpg

Before Photopass got the “official” shots.
Since the portfolios come with a PhotoPass ID#, I entered them into my account and found 2 cool borders that are available.
One with Cinderella’s signature
Photopass2008442.jpg

and one with blue floral corners
Photopass2008440.jpg

The family was up next and I added the Cinderella’s Royal Table border to those pics.
It’s a nice shot except for X who was checking out the princess.
Photopass2008451.jpg

But he finally looked the right direction and we got this nice shot.
Photopass2008454.jpg

Then we were directed to the benches nearby to wait for our name to be announced.
DD was just beeming and decided to start modeling and posing like a princess.
How precious are these shots?

Our name was finally called and we were escorted up the stairs and deeper into the castle.
What wonders wait atop the stairs?
Adorn your royal attire and we shall convene anon!

Oh, my goodness!!! That is the cutest shot of her "acting surprised" !!! Just sweet beyond words! And you got a Cindy that actually LOOKS like her animated counterpart. Sometimes I think they really could do a better job lately with lookalikes. JMO. But, oh the castle!! How very lovely! Do you know if it's possible to even get in for a peek without doing the whole meal thing?? I'd love to go in just once to see what it's like and get some photos for myself.

Great job, as usual!

Yeah, I was really happy with our Cinderella - she really looked and acted the part.

As for pics, the lobby is past the hostess station and I doubt they'll let you back there without an ADR.
But stay tuned you'll get a close and personal tour next time around.
And I'll even do it in character to enhance the experience! :goodvibes

When I was there in 2002 with my first princess, CRT breakfast was the highlight of our trip. It is simply magical. I think I was just as excited as she was. Can't wait to hear how the rest of your castle visit went!

Beautiful Pictures!!! That is a great family picture. X is hilarious. He loved all the other characters, but when it comes to the Princess he looks scared. Your family is so adorable!

she really is such a beautiful princess! i'm glad that she enjoyed it - what a special treat for a little girl...

can't wait for the next installment! :)

Everyone please take your seats as we progress with the recounting of our royal family's attendance at the Royal Table.
I hope everyone is dressed properly and prepared with manners and etiquette fit for a prince or princess.
Now, on with our tale...

As we ascended the winding stairs leading deeper into the castle,
I noticed the image of our hostess herself upon a magnificent stained glass window:
Disney2008899.jpg

Upon reaching the summit of the staircase, we were promptly led to our table.
We had been seated near the entrance hall (and opposite the portal to Fantasyland).
I berated myself for not inquiring about a setting nearer the window.
Ah well, this area allows for less back-lit portraits throughout our morning repast.

The table was adorned with properly folded napkins and “Wishing Stars” at each setting.
CRTWishingStar.jpg

Furthermore, wands were distributed to the princesses whilst the knights were armed with swords.
Upon inspection, you can clearly view the “CRT” insignia upon the sword’s hilt.
The princess wands, however, were inscribed with the words “Cinderella’s Royal Table”

Our royal assembly was enchanted with their gifts and displayed their pleasure in the accompanying portraits:
Disney2008900b.jpg

Disney2008901.jpg

Prince X was diligently pre-occupied with the provided packets of sugar.
He proceeded to arrange them in and out of their appropriate box.
This presented a splendid occasion for capturing the royal queen with her offspring:
Disney2008903.jpg

Now it was high time that I was included in a portrait.
There, of course, should be evidence that I attended this royal ball along with my clan.
And what better way to immortalize the occasion than kissing the fair princess?
Disney20081145.jpg

To my surprise, the princess took it upon herself to return the favor:
Disney20081143.jpg

Breakfast was pleasant and quite enjoyable.
It was served family-style and we feasted on eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fruit, french toast, and potato casserole.
The casserole was a nice departure from the other staples but one does not, after all, come to the castle to eat.
It’s all about the ambiance, the experience, and the magic! pixiedust:
A gentleman introduced himself as our servant and regarded us as royalty throughout the meal.
Each member of our royal family was addressed as such and our servants acted accordingly.
It enhanced the experience quite dramatically.

Soon it was time for the host princesses to make their appearance.
Our servant indicated that I should focus my recording device upon a certain location.
Apparently all of the princesses would address the assembly together before making their rounds.
Indeed they did and, thanks to our servant, I was prepared.
Disney2008902a.jpg

It was a regal portrait if I do say so without boasting.
Princess DD was busting to make the acquaintances of the princesses once again.
The establishment was bustling with lots of little princesses also eagerly awaiting their introductions to the newcomers.
In my opinion, the princesses congregated with us more at the Castle Akershus than at this palace.
Then again, it is hard to quarrel with the experience of being inside THE Castle!
It is, after all, the icon of this realm.

As the princesses began their tour around the facility, our servant hurried over.
DD was presented with a birthday cupcake and card.
Disney2008904.jpg

The servant explained that the cupcake was only to be consumed after the meal.
But he wanted to bring the accompanying card for the princesses to autograph when they arrived.
Then, without prompting, the servant asked the prince DS if he also would like to enjoy a cupcake after his meal.
DS grinned with delight and the servant promised to present one at his earliest convenience.

We attempted to partake in our morning banquet but, alas, our princess was too excited to eat.
She barely touched her repast as she eyed the other princesses with awe.
Our table was near the end of the princesses’ journey throughout the castle so DD was bursting upon their arrival.
The Princess Jasmine led the assembly and our prince surprised us with a desire to be included in the portrait.
Disney2008905.jpg

Disney2008906.jpg

Jasmine completed her visit by autographing DD’s card and then passed it to the Princess Belle who had now arrived.
Disney2008907.jpg

Belle was clad in her country dress and our Maiden was delighted to capture a solo portrait her:
Disney2008909.jpg

Snow White was next in the procession and autographed DD’s card while congratulating her on her date of birth.
Disney2008910.jpg

She also gathered our little ones together for a group portrait
Disney2008911.jpg

Before obligatory poses with just the princess:
Disney2008912.jpg

Disney2008913.jpg

The princess pageant concluded with the appearance of the Sleeping Beauty.
Princess Aurora autographed the card and wished DD a Happy Birthday
Disney2008914.jpg

Then posed with both prince and princess
Disney2008915.jpg

Prior to receiving a royal hug from the princess
Disney2008916.jpg

The card was now complete.
It was pleasing that each princess in turn autographed it personally.
However, due to this process, the card lacked signatures from the Princesses Ariel and Cinderella.
I found this peculiar since this IS, after all, the Royal Table of Princess Cinderella.
Therefore, I favored the card from Castle Akershus which was complete even if it was not fulfilled in person.

Alas, our time with royal family was drawing towards an end.
Please join us again for the finale of this wonderful experience.

it is so much fun to be in the castle isnt it? and the server from our first trip to the castle is the one who is on the disney channel specials, it is so great every time i catch it , your princess looks adorable, and your princes are quite dashing too

I always forget to comment. Don't want you to think you've lost your readers!
Very Nice! :thumbsup2

Still reading and still loving your report. I wounder what would make your DS want to have picture taken with Jasmin? Or, as we refer to her in our house hot Jasmin. :lmao:

I wondered the same thing... There's a lot to take a picture of. :rotfl2: Okay, enough silliness... Love those photos! but especially the one with all the princesses on the "dias" thing. By the way, do they get to keep their wands and swords, or are they just for using while at the meal??

DD is so adorable! I made my DD look at the pics to see if she wanted to do it also but being a somewhat moody teenager she said no :sad2: I can't wait to read more :surfweb:

Yup - we have the swords and wand - in fact, I took that pic once we got home.
Very nice keepsakes (although the sword is a bit flimsy).
They go nicely with our lightsabers from Downtown Disney.

BTW - Rayna loved your letter!!
She was so excited to get a letter from a princess overseas!

I want to thank you for the detailed info about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I didn't think my husband would be all that thrilled about having our 4 year old and almost 3 year old do that, but once I showed him this thread he told me to make the reservation! So thank you!!!

Got back in town and then found out I'm pregnant, so I'm just now getting back to you TR. I LOVE the pictures of DD at BBB. She's adorable. :)

The picture of DS and X on the rides is precious. I'm glad you had some "boy" time alone. I'm sure the boys liked getting some time with just dad.

I don't want your TR to be over! You need to go back ASAP. :rotfl:

I'm glad I could help and your DH will not be disappointed - the transformation is astonishing!!
