Looking for as many Halloween details before we cruise! What night is “Halloween”? Trick or Treating? Are characters dressed in their costumes throughout the cruise or just on “Halloween”? Things you wish you had known or planned for? đŸ‘» 🎃 Did the Dream HOTHS in 2019
.curious how it’s changed.

We were on the 9/12 4 night. It was the first HotHS for the Wish, so things could be adapting and changing:

The characters were in their costumes throughout the sailing. Including several opportunities to get photos with the "Sanderson Sisters" (Minnie, Clarabelle and Daisy).

The Lighting of the (GORGEOUS) Halloween tree (named Boo) happened our Second night, and all the Halloween party festivities happened that night as well. The drink of the day that day was the 'Haunted-Rita', and the halloween show "Mickey's Mouseqerade Party" happened after the first showing of The Little Mermaid (So you don't have to miss the show to see the Halloween Party". They had bags of halloween candy on a table and you could go ask for them (they asked if you had any kids with you if you were an unaccompanied adult, but they would begrudgingly give you a bag of candy even if you admitted you were not sailing with kids. This was the opposite of the Dream where they encouraged adults to participate in the treat trail and were extremely generous with the candy.

There were Halloween crafts throughout the sailing. Pirate night was night 3 and lots of people wore their Halloween costumes for a second time.

On the dream a few days later there was an awesome Halloween party just for adults (I think it was called Halloween isn't Just for Kids). Hopefully they'll bring that to the Wish as well before the season is up.

Here's a link to a video that has the Navigator with all the activities for that HotHS Wish sailing:

The video was awesome and helpful. Thanks for posting. What is Disney Victrophone?

It was pretty awesome. Kind of a Postmodern Jukebox performance with Disney and Pop songs. I guess they normally perform in the Grand Hall, but because of all the Halloween festivities they were in Luna. Someone said it gave it kind of a 'speakeasy' vibe and I totally agree with that.

I don't know which sailing this was but someone who works for David's DVC Rentals said there was trick or treating in the Hero Zone on deck 12.

We're on the Wish right now and Halloween was last night. We had trick or treating on deck 11 at 7:15pm.

We were on the Wish and got off Sunday. Our trick or Treating was done in the Hero zone at 5:00 and 5:30 . The line went way down the stairs and out to the pool deck. Maybe that is why they changed it.

Adults also got a bag when entering and went to different stations . Didn’t have to be dressed up either.

Yes the characters were in Halloween costumes the whole cruise.

You can get pictures done at night in front of the tree.

Not great picture but can’t find my other ones.

Here are some from the 9/19 sailing. A group of women took the one of me and my husband, the pose was their idea. 😂😂
