Is it a california thing or something, because every time I try to do online purchases of movie tickets, it won't let me. I've used just about any online store, the theater site itself, nothing. It's really really annoying because I can't get any savings on it.

Looks like the only way to redeem the tickets is to sign up for weeklycinema.com
They have a three day free trial, but if you don't print the tickets, then cancel within the 3 days- $15.99.
Too many hoops for me.

OK, I got the email from Tippr that my voucher was ready, downloaded it, then you go to weeklycinema.com. There is a clickable link at the top that says "did you buy a 4 pack on a deal site". I think this is a good deal but I just can't bring myself to spend money on movie tickets anymore. I have to deal with uncontrolled kids in the theater, the inevitable chair kicker or texter sitting near me, the cost of the treats....if I could have the whole theater to myself it would be great Then I consider that I can just buy the movie when it comes out for less than $20 (or get it from Redbox for $1) - it just doesn't seem cost-effective to go to the movies for me. I think I might be becoming a tightwad....

If you use the the code sept10 at check out you get another ten percent off your purchase. That means the tickets end up being four dollars and fifty cents each.

I agree with you for the most part. But some movies just beg to be seen in three d. And I dont have a three d tv. So four dollar tickets are a pretty good deal. Especially since I have theater gift cards to use for the snacks. And our theaters arent as bad as yours sounds.

I got it too. But then I got the email with the link to my vouchers within 10 minutes. They already got the minimum number of buyers that they needed.

All the theaters near me do not accept Fandango & when I go into movietickets.com they say:

•This theater is not currently participating in MovieTickets.com Promotional programs.

So this is a no go for me.
