4 more sleeps! Any advice on good places to stand for parades?

Just wondering if anyone knew of good places to stand for either parade in park or studios? Either for good view or for good interaction for the children.
4 sleeps to go and we are off to HNY for 6 nights.

To be honest I don't think there is a special place to stand for character interaction, the parade doesn't really stop like the last one did so its more luck than judgement with regards to the characters. We ended upstanding in different places and as long as you get a front spot it was amazing

In the studios I managed to get us a good spot by accident- my dh was in art of animation with our oldest boys and I was sitting on a bench outside while our baby had a nap and they put up the ropes right in from of me so I stayed put and we got a great view and the boys stood on the bench. I will definitely stake that spot out on our next trip!

I have always found a good spot is in Fantasyland near the Pizzeria Bella Notte as it is the start of the parades route and not many people wait around by there.

This is where I was going to say as well! Also, the other side by the queue line for IASW is also another great, underused spot!

we lean against the pink towers just past bella notre then people cant stand at one side of you worked for us last time

I'm totally with the pink tower position - used to be perfect for parade stops but its still a great place. Or try the popcorn stand by the Castle (on the left as you look at it), I quite like that spot too

The last time I went to DLP was the 3rd of September so the park was quite busy, and I noticed that a good place to stand on Main Street was just behind one of the green bins. Not very glamorous, but it meant that nobody could push in front of you! We prefered Main Street to stand as it added to the magic of the parade for us, taking pictures of the floats with the castle in the background. Of course this might not be the best place for you, but we enjoyed it

Thanks all, will check out the spots mentioned although have booked cafe mickey for 2 nights at 6.30 so hoping we have enough time to get back into park for a spot for dreams.
