We are thinking of trying to cram a half day in at Seaworld in our jam packed itinerary, only because a) we've never been to the one in Orlando (wasn't too impressed with the one in CA), and b) we'll have free entrance included with our Discovery Cove tickets.

Kids are 9 and 11 years old (tall enough to ride all the coasters at Universal). What should be at the top of our list and I would assume try to do this early in the morn?

It all depends on what you like really, if your kids like coasters then Manta and Kraken are must dos.
If you like the shows, then depending on the show schedule you may be able to fit in a couple of those, with some time to visit the exhibits too.
As I say it really depends on what you like; you might ask yourself:
Do you want to see the shows? (if you've been to SWC then you may have seen them already)
Are there any particular animals you/your family like?
Do you want to feed the animals?

Chances are if you didn't like SW in Ca. you probably won't be thrilled with it in Florida either. The shows are pretty much the same-only they don't do the pirate island theme for Clyde and SeaMore show in Ca. .

Since you are doing DC I would say skip all the animal feeding and viewing and do the rides. Depends on time of year you are there, but they have special things going on sometimes like Jack Hanna shows or concerts.

We are just back, our kids loved Seaworld. Especially the rides, go first thing in the morning and ride Kracken, Manta, and Atlantis. We did one full day of seaworld and then went back another day for about three hours. We like the dolphin show and the sealion shows the best.

My DD8 LOVES Atlantis. Kraken in AMAZING!! I have to say, I have been to the SeaWorld in San Antonio and find the one in Orlando far superior. Not sure if that is the case with California or not as I have never been there. We may even do 2 days at Sea World. We have trouble fitting everything in to one day. We are doing Discovery Cove as well and are so excited! When are you going?
