Wow! Its been almost two weeks and I am already planning a return trip! This was our second time we were fortunate to get free dining... Our first time Nov 2010 we were able to stay 5 days.. This time 4 days.. All in all I am very happy with our choices!
We were a party of 6.. Me (36), My Hubby(37) and 15 year son and my Brother(38) and Neices (6&9)
We arrived on November 11- actually got off the plan and were at POFQ first stop off the bus! Checkin and we were hungry so we ate the food court..
Hubby and Bro shared a pizza- it was ok.. Not a lot of sauce or Cheese and the pepperoni was barely there for $15.99 not worth it
DS and me shared a philiy cheese steak-pretty good amount of meat and the fries were good...
Off to Epcot- Had two ADRS for Coral Reef- one at 7:10 the other at 7:25 (each for 3).. WHen we checked in we asked to become a party of 6.. No problem but we would need to wait about 20 minutes..We were seated first row but in the booths all the way to the left. Great view of the fishies! We decided since we had 3 adults we would all get different desserts and this is what we did all trip..
Bro and DH got NY strip steak..Hubby said it was good but not OMG good
Me- Salmon with quino(?).. It was delish
DS- Roasted chicken with mash potatoes
Desserts- Turtle cheesecake- Really creamy and not overly sweet
Key lime- this wasnt your average key lime pie.. it had more of a custard crust- But it was really limey but really good!
Chocolate wave- my hubby though it was good but he liked the cheesecake better....
After dinner.. around 8:30-8:40 we headed over to watch Illuminations and jsut because I wanted to try one.. got a cronut over at the refreshment port by Canada.. I took a couple of bites..YUM! and saved the rest for a snack later.. Luckily I had asked for another plate and I had a bag
