4 days to go!!!!

We are so excited!

Taking our time driving down (I originally wanted to go down commando!!!), my Dh wants to go to Virginia Beach (out of the way I know!) but we will stop and sightsee and spend the night there! This way we avoid some nasty traffic/construction around the larger cities. Then the next day ,get an early start and hope we at least get as far as the FL border, anyone know a nice place to stop close to the border?

Have a wonderful trip. When we drove down in 2003 we stayed at Ardele, Georgia. Was a nice little hotel with an IHOP attached to it. But lots of places to say near the Georgia/Florida border so you won't have a problem.

I hope you have a wonderful time. If anyone deserves this trip, it's you. I also hope your back is feeling better and your vehicle doesn't give you any more hassles.
