4 days @ Jambo first vacay there, suggestions?

Ok, so we visit the world 3x per yr. Decided to go for four days mid-may and stay at akl. This will be our first visit to akl besides lunch at sanaa. Staying at a studio at Jambo...we don't even care if we visit the parks this trip at all, just looking for relaxation (and we enjoy adult beverages). Can anyone give suggestions on resort activities for us to enjoy....can we truly just enjoy the resort without the parks???? We will also have an 11 and 12 yr old boy with us!

I had a 3 night Jambo visit in January with DFs and we didn't do any parks. We are all adults, but still, I think you can have a wonderful time. We made sure to visit all of the overlooks, listen to the CM's and your sons can do the bead activities and enjoy the great Community room at Kidani. I did the Boma/Jiko tour and got to sample some of the food, that's held everyday, I think. There's a wine tasting for adults, but only on one day, I'm not sure of the day.

Not on this visit, but I did the Lunch with an Animal Specialist, that was at Sanaa and I thought it was very good, and hope to do it again!

The wine tasting at Jiko is Wed, never been able to get in --- yet. Night vision goggles near the pool at Jambo. Also second CM activities. Really like the pool games at Kidani. We did ceramics last May at Jambo, may do it again this year, but I think I need a bead necklace more!
