Hello.

My DH and I have both had weight loss surgery so we don't eat large meals, however, our kids are 11 and 14 and are considered adults at Disney. I would like to come up with a budget - and even though my DH and I will split meals most of the time, I wanted to OVER budget at this point.

What would a family of 4 adults pay on a daily basis at Disney to eat/drink? (We will eat breakfast in our room).

Any thoughts?

The way I understand it, if you have a letter from your doctor stating you have had weight loss surgery, you are charged the child's price at buffets at Disney.

Other than that, I'd suggest looking at the menus on allears and see what you would anticipate getting to get a rough idea of cost.

It depends on the restaurant. Some still charge full adult price. Simply because there is no way to monitor what/how much you eat and besides that there are plenty of 10 yr olds that eat less than adult and yet get charged an adult price.I know one of the GB patients on the dining threads got charged full price at most Disney buffets despite the letter from their Doc
