For those of you that are going for 2 weeks and taking advantage of the 4/3 deal. What is the best way to do this and pay the least amount of $$.

Can I get a 10 day PHP on the reservation for the 1st week and then get a 1 day base on the second weeks reservation?
If so-would I have to use the 10 PHP within 10 days from first use? Or can I save some of those days to use during my second week when I will only have the 1 day base ticket? Would I need to buy the non-expiration option on the 10 day PHP?

One more question-if I can use the 10 day PHP later if I save days..how does that work, it will be on my card with my original room reservation right-so once I am done that room reservation-I still use the same card for my park entries once I am into my second week? I can see some confusion happening if we have more than one set of cards on the go by the time we get to the second week!

Right now I am doing the 4/3, but staying for 11 nights..so really if I switched my ressie I should be able to get 14 nights for close to the same cost I am paying now right?!?!

My DF and I will be there for 11 nights on our honeymoon next year. I just called on the the promo and it is for a maximum of 10 nights. I ended up modifying our original ressie to 10 nights and tacking on a room only res at the end. You can probably do similar with 2 codes... The very nice man I spoke with even added in a note stating continuous reservation so hopefully we won't have to change rooms.

That is what I have right now..a 10 night package and 1 night room ressie.

But I think if I can change my travel dates it would cost the same to do the 14 nights as I would pay 8 and get 6 free.

The only thing I think would be more is if you're doing the dining plan as that is not discounted.

you're a bad influence! Now I'm thinking about extending our honeymoon, since it won't cost us much more! I have no idea why I didn't think of that before...

It is the tickets that are more..so If I can carry over days from the first ressie then it could be okay..
(btw-all my friends call me a enabler..lol!)

The dining plan is not discounted at all..so I am really only looking at the cost of the room/tickets

Has anyone booked 2 one week reservations????

We're going for two weeks in June! I booked two one week reservations with no problems. I bought the 10 day ticket with the first reservation, and the CM said I could use it for the second week with no problem, since it expires 14 days after the first use. With the second reservation, I have a one day ticket. I did have to pay two $200 deposits though.

it would be fine as long as the tickets as used within 14 days from first use. You don't need to pay for the "no expiration" option-
It sound like a great opportunity!
:thumbsup2

I have read a thread where someone booked 2 one-week trips so they could get 6 free nights. I'll look for the thread and then post the link here. Personally, what I did was book 7 nights to get this new deal, and then a separate ressie (same resort) so that I didn't have to pay rack rate on my remaining nights. So my 2nd ressie has a room-only AAA discount right now and perhaps an even better discount later (if one is offered....). The CM totally understood why I asked to do it this way (to avoid paying rack rate for nights 8, 9, 10, and 11).

Okay..so the 10 day PHP ticket question is resolved for me!
Yahh! Glad to hear I can use it later in the trip with no problems.

But what about the tickets themselves..do I get the ticket portion removed from the room key? I guess I just need to know the logistics of what I need to do and how that would work :-)

If I were you I would book 2 separate reservations for 14 nights (4/3 and 4/3). I would get 10 day tickets with the first reservation (they expire 14 days from first use, you can use them during your second week, the days on tickets are not tied to your resort days) and then either have a couple resort days or add the water parks and more option for the non park days. With the second reservation I would just get a 1 day ticket (at check in ask for them to remove your park ticket from your room key, so you have a paper ticket)and upgrade them at some future trip. Wish I could spend 14 days in WDW, I'm jealous;) .
