Tuesdays are my normal day off, so I'll be there! If I get scheduled, I'll likely be going in later than 2:30 anyway so it'll work out. I can't wait to meet everyone!

If ther eis a rocket launch we are going to see that.

I hope that time will continue to make things a bit easier but I know how hard it must be still. I am proud to have "known" Bob via the podcast even though we never met. A very close frined of mine lost her husband and she still has good days and bad days 3 years later. We will always keep you and the family in our thoughts. I hope you have a good time on the cruise.

Thank you for posting. As we have a Dole Whip in Memory of Bob, We will also be thinking of you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May all the wonderful memories you have of Bob continue to give you comfort.

I just listening to old DIS unplugged podcasts - Bob is one of the hosts - how did he pass away?

He passed away last April 28th unexpectedly from a heart attack. If you use search I am sure you can find the thread announcing his passing. He is missed by all and he loved dolewhips. That is why we are doing a dolewhip meet for Bob (Bawb).

I started listening to the podcast the week before Bob passed away. When the announcement was made I went back and started listening to a lot of the old shows and was so sad to think that this really wonderful and vibrant man was gone.

I didn't know Bob, and I didn't even really get to hear any of his podcasts until after the fact, but I know he meant a lot to a lot of people, and even just doing the GKTW fundraiser in memory of him, I mean look at how well it has done! Anyone who leaves such an impression on the hearts of so many is obviously a very very wonderful person, and because of that, I think he is to be honored in any way possible.

I cannot be at the Dole Whip mini-meet for him, but I will definitely be there in spirit!
