The official currency is the Tunisian dinar or lire. U.S. dollars and euros are usually accepted (including at museums). There are banks downtown and ATM's around town.

Crazy 24 hours here and waiting for dh to get home from work so we can depart.

Thank goodness for Blackberry will still be able to have access to all my goodies for a few days at least.

Dh bringing laptop with global wireless card so will try to post some and we will see all you MED peeps in just a couple of weeks.

It is going to be an incredible adventure!

I had a productive evening. I finally sorted out getting the graphics for the magnets printed in the kind of quality I had in mind through an online photo prints site. They arrived over the last couple of days and I spent a happy evening turning them into magnets using my Xyron Creative Station. I made 4 magnets for our Med cruise, 4 generic magnets and 2 for the Transatlantic. I forgot about my favourite graphic for the Med and I also found another generic graphic that I really love so I ordered prints for those and have to turn them into magnets once they get here. I am hoping to find some more graphics for the Transatlantic before September. I am really pleased with the result and can't wait to decorate our door.

By the way, has everybody got their cruise documents now? There is still no sign here. I wonder if this is normal or if I should start to panic. For our previous cruises, we always had them about a month before the sailing date.

I would call. I've had mine for a while. If you have a TA, call them...otherwise, Disney either didn't mail them or they are lost at this point...request they send to you again, you should by far have them by now.

I emailed them earlier on and will hopefully get a reply later on today. I had asked them to sent the cruise documents to my work address. Where I live, you need multiple fobs to get anywhere near the mail boxes so they can't even leave a card if they tried to deliver something. Royal Mail has access, but courier services have not. I know in 2008 my cruise documents came by UPS and last year through Fedex. I was just really worried that they tried to deliver them to my home address after all.

This actually makes me feel a bit better that nobody in the UK has them yet. Looks like there is just some kind of delay with getting them to the UK.
