Well, they may not be quite so Secret Anymore..... BUT, we were thrilled to snag two of the connecting Secret Porthole rooms for our 4/20 cruise. We had 5522/5524. We LOVED them, and would book them again if we have the opportunity. We were on the Starboard side of the ship and we woke to a beautiful view of the Harbor on wednesday in St.Thomas. There were workers outside of our window a few times during the afternoon hours. When we ordered room service -- the castmembers who delivered our food were all interested in seeing the rooms -- most commented that they had never seem them before.

These rooms are a definite thumbs up for us!

We have cabin 5020 secret porthole room. Our cruise documents just arrived today so our Disney experience is happening soon and looking forward to it.

We had 5522 on the 4/6 cruise and loved it also!! (Even though we had horrible neighbors - loud, fighting, etc)

We rebooked 5520 for our next cruise for next year. We really liked the location of the rooms also, away from everything noisy (except our neighbors... ) but easy to get to everything!!

Darn, the secret is out!!

two4ruff,
You will probably find 5520 to be a lot quieter than 5522, since it is not an adjoiner. When we are in a secret porthole room, it's generally 5520 or 5020. But once we were in an adjoiner, and my hubby dubbed the family next door the "kickboxers" because that's what it sounded like they were doing to the door! But it's worth it for that neat free porthole, and Deck 5 is so convenient.
Even if your neighbors are noisy, it will be more muffled in the non-adjoining rooms.

Yes, atigeg, you warned me beforehand about the "kick boxers"! I had hoped we would be lucky and have calm, quiet neighbors. We got the "Archie Bunker" family instead!!

Looking forward to 5520...the family there during our cruise apologized for the crying newborn...we never heard him once!

We have 5020 on the May 12 Cruise 11 days to go !!!!:Pinkbounc
