4/17 Magic - Anyone with 8 or 9 yo boy?

I was wondering if anyone else is cruising on the 4/17 Magic with their son/nephew/grandson who is 8 or 9 years old

I'm looking to put my fairly shy 8 year old son in touch with another boy his age before the cruise so he has someone he "knows" when he goes to the kids program. I thought if they could exchange a few emails or maybe a letter or two before the cruise, it would make it a little more comfortable for two boys who wouldn't otherwise know anyone in the kids program.
