We are curious as we are more craft beer drinkers, can we bring 4 16oz cans instead of the 6 12oz cans? The beer we like only is available in the 4/16oz size. Technically it’s less beer but will they allow it?

The policy is "a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces)". For the most part, when DCL says "12 oz each" they mean "12 oz each".

This. I’m sure there are people who have gotten different size containers through but it’s really at the discretion of security. Up to you whether to risk it.
