Well, you can add another New England family to the list (taking advantage of April vacation as well)!!
It will be me, DH and DD10.
We plan on telling her for Christmas!


Looking at maybe Paradise Beach or Nachi Cocom for Cozumel and would love to swim with the dolphins/turtle farm in Grand Cayman. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on these?

on our first cruise, it was offered as an excursion through a private company. however, that was not in grand cayman. We were on the eastern carribean, docked in st thomas and ferried over to st. john where we got to swim with the dolphins. I would look up more info about excursions in some TR's from the Dream West Carribean. I'm sure you'll find something!

So, I just read something that is awesome!!!!

I hope it's true!!!!

This is what I found on another thread:

"Brent has been working as the assistant cruise director to Rachel on the Dream.

On the maiden voyage of the Dream, Rachel told us that Brent will be on the Dream, then going on vacation, then going shoreside to work on the Fantasy.

He wil eventually end up in Germany and will be bringing the Fantasy over in March 2012 and will be the cruise director on the Fantasy once she is sailing!"

What??? We love Brent! Well, my daughter and I do, anyways!! LOL That would be totally awesome if this is true!!

We just came off a 7 night on the Magic a few weeks ago. Our Cruise Director was Darin (sp?). We had the opportunity to talk to him for about 20 minutes one day. In that conversation, he said he was in a meeting where Brent accepted the job of Cruise Director for the Fantasy. He also said he wants to be Brent's "right hand man". Apparently many people want to work with Brent. But Darin was his assistant on the Magic for a few years, so he hopes he gets to be Brent's assistant on the Fantasy. That would be a good team!

Anybody here was thinking of making the fish extender? This is my first cruise but it sound interesting. I had always like gift exchange.

Hi everyone! Chris and I just got off our 20th Anniversary cruise on the Magic! While onboard, we booked this sailing of the Fantasy for the whole family! We are from Alabama and have sailed on the Wonder (Oct. '10) with the family. We will be on Deck 8 (can't remember cabin #'s at the moment) with 2 staterooms. It will be:

DW (Laura)- 42
DS (Kyle)- 17
DS (Nathan)- 15
DD (Elizabeth)-11

So is anyone super excited about the announcement for the Magic coming to NY next summer? I have to say, I'm not too thrilled. I will probably get myself onto at least one of the 2-night "no where" cruises just to be on the ship. I can't wait to drive down the West Side Highway in NYC and see that ship there!!

Hope that everyone is well despite this horrible weather!!

I was excited about NYC...until I saw the prices!! We paid less for this cruise, on a new ship, on a vacation week than what some of those prices are turning out to be. Crazy!!

We are booked on one of the cruise to nowhere. just hubby and I! I looked at 5 night Canada trip, it was almost 2k more than what I paid for this one, same cat. sorry, no go for me.
