4/14/2012 7-Nights Western Caribbean on the Fantasy

How did u do it?? Straight through or did u stop I night?? I'm seriously thinking "road trip" down & fly back?? :confused3 We'll see....

We left at night drove all the way to the georgia Florida border and spent the night. No traffic it was great. My kids slept most of the night and we had DVD players and all kinds of fun things to do.

:cool1:
REALLY looking forward to this trip! But I don't want to have to do the driving if I don't have to...

I just checked Jet Blue for this week's April vacation: almost $600pp one way.

What about hiring a party bus??? I actually have a friend who arranges golf vacations and am going to call him to see if he has any connections.

Chelmsford and Billerica families...we're just 1/2 hour down 495 from all of you at the junction of 495 and 290!

We have three girls, ages at sailing will be 14, 14, and 16.

It is kind of late to be looking at airfare's for this April, you have to book when they come out! Jet Blue, Southwest & Airtran will be booking over the summer into the fall, or you cant try Delta by the end of May (Nonstopes directly to MCO)

I am going to try and be as flexible as possible. Probably pull the kids out of school on Wed or Thursday if I have to. Having 6 of us, airfare is going to be a killer... I would even stay a few days on the other end if I had to. I will try from Boston or Manchester

Our youngest will be a bit over 2. Driving down for us is probably not an option.

I find the smaller they are the better it is to drive with them. Now they can ask "are we there yet". It is a long ride from MA but we break out the drive to 2 days. It worked out cheaper for us this past summer than buying 4 plane tickets.

:wizard:
Wish I could just wave a magic wand and be there! I would consider driving, but oldest dd is in high school and I hesitate to take her out too early because she would miss so much. Too bad they don't cruise out of Boston or New York like the Bermuda cruise does!

YoHo YoHo a Slackers Cruise for Me

My sentiments EXACTLY!! I will enjoy cruising with you!!!;):woohoo:

We will all be competing to get the best airfares!! I don't know if I want to know what other people paid....:lmao:
good luckpixiedust: if you get a better deal than me...
...but don't tell me!:laughing::laughing:

HaHa!!:lmao:I know... The airlines websites are going to crashing the day they come out with the April fares for Boston to MCO just from our group of cruisers!!:rotfl: Hope we don't crash the sites!! Or worse, drive the price up because we're all looking for the same thing.;)

So.......given this winter in MA so far......whose ready for this cruise now?? Is it ever going to stop snowing??

Hoping next winter isn't this bad!! Heard they're talking taking away some April vacation days because of all the school cancellations. Would stink if they do that to us NEXT year!:scared1: My DS is also in high school & it's the reason we booked for this week.

My DS will be a freshman in college & be missing this cruise  Oh Well he must sacrifice for his education I will still have my 3 DD with us!:dance3::scared1:

My DS has requested a cruise for the following New Years I asked if he would like RCCI Allure or Oasis or the Disney Fantasy he said the Fantasy!:3dglasses

So we will be booking that when they open up those time slots!:hourglass

My DD, SIL, me and a good friend will be on this cruise. We just got off the Dream. This was my birthday cruise. The Fantasy cruise is my DD birthday cruise. we are from MD.

I need to take one more cruise before this one because I refuse to let my DD make Gold before me. She is one up on me because they did their honeymoon on the Wonder and 5 year vow renewal on the Magic. I was not allowed to go on the honeymoon but did go for the vow renewal.

We will drive if airline pricing is just too high.

Booked on the Dream (we just got off the 1/30 cruise)! This is going to be great as it's my birthday cruise! YAY! And we've never done the Western itinerary so I'm triple excited (Fantasy, birthday, Western).

Sooooooo.....what was your opinion on the Dream? Getting a little nervous reading some posts on the main cruise boards:confused:. Just don't want to feel "crowded". Which we never did on the Magic. Very excited about going on a new ship though!!

Myself, DW, DS (15), DD (13) at time of cruise. :goodvibes

We will be looking to fly out of Bradley in CT since we are in western MA. On our last cruise in 2010, Southwest was overbooked and we were bumped off that flight and had to pay an outrageous fare to fly Delta.
