3yr old first time in clubs - any suggestions?

Just wondering if anyone else who has had a 3 yr old in the clubs has any suggestions for your child's first time there.

Our daughter is 3 1/2, and was too young the last time to go to the clubs. She now attends pre- school and loves that experience, but I am looking for tips on when you may have taken your kids there, how they liked it, how long is too long to leave them in the club, etc.

We would love to spend some time to ourselves on this cruise, but we both want to make sure that not only does she have a good time, but that it is a great experience for her too.

I'm thinking no more than 2-3 hours at a time . . .

I know it depends on the personality of the child, but, any suggestions????

I can offer one tip, I think the MOST important thing to do is take her to the first activity at the club or the first time they do a get together thing. Children develop friendships so fast that if you miss out the first nite it seems as if "clicks" have already formed.

We're cruising first-time with our 4 y.o. in Jan. We plan on using the clubs (he's also in pre-school and enjoys the social aspect).

Is there time during the first day/first meetings for parents to attend with your child (meet staff,etc.)???
