Hi guys-
Despite my best efforts to avoid it, it looks like our extended family trip is going to have to be during the summer. Is there any difference in crowds or weather between the 3rd week of June and the last week of July? I'm thinking that there won't be a bit of difference, but thought I'd see if you guys knew something I didn't.

Thanks
Leslie

not sure about july crowds because we've never been then....we've been the 3rd week in june before and will be there again this year....it will be crowded and hot....disney really starts to get busy about the 3rd week in june as most everyone is out of school by then.....we did do a universal studios/sea world/wet'n wild trip in july 2000 and it was PACKED!!! we said never again in july....we would rather go in may like we used to, but dw is a school teacher and that's out of the question now....BTW, we went last year over easter week and although it was crowded, with fastpass and EMH, it was extremely manageable....I can't imagine the 3rd week in june being any more crowded than that....

My advice to you is to go the 3rd week of June. We have gone around that time our last two trips and I didn't think the crowds were bad at all. I've been there in July on previous trips and the crowds are much much worse. Also, we didn't experience as much of the "daily afternoon rain" in June as we did in July. When we return, we'll definitely make it a June trip.

I've not been that late in June (usually go week after Memorial Day), but we have been there in late July and would definitely recommend the June date. Weather (RAIN) and crowds were much worse in July.

Thanks guys! Sounds like consensus that June is better!! I'd been leaning towards June anyway since DD turns 3 on 7/14, so she'll still be free in June (save a $ however you can!!).

Thanks again!!
