Love the prom pics!! I'm originally from WV and live in TN now, so a camo tux wouldn't suprise me at all! Now a camo dress, that would be funny! Paige does look a lot like you in the prom pics!

I realize that when we all were kids we wore stuff where when we look back we are embarrassed.


I hope you take this the right way, but the camo tux vest might take the cake lol I spit my drink all over my desk and my boss was staring at me like I was crazy. Camo and Tux? Who would have thunk they would ever go together ? LOL

I'm from KY (live in Orlando), so I know styles are different, but I just didn't know they made this.

Well you would have loved to have been at my son's prom a couple weeks ago. There was a girl with a camo dress and it had a bright orange belt. BTW check out where I am from!!!

See I don't see us loking much alike there. I thin kshe looks more like present day me. But when I went to my 20th class reunion 2 summers ago, Paige ogt out of the car (it was a family aftrernoon) and a couple of people thought it was me till I got out. LOL!

Back to the TR!


After Minnie’s house we went into the big store there in Toontown and looked around. I looked at the wait time for the Fairies…60 minutes , no thank you…...and we strolled around the store. Claire found a toy. It was a Minnie Mouse spin toy. When you press the button the skirt spins and lights up. I noticed a CM gathering kids to dance, and aksed Claire if she wanted to join them. But she declined and said she already danced at the parade.
They did some dances and I noticed the kids who danced got a certificate…a “year of a million dreams” certificate. Evidently they have a lot left over and are trying to sue them up. LOL!

As we left I checked the Fairy wait again. It was now up to 75 minutes!

We next took a potty break at Pete’s Garage.
Claire was impressed that his garage was the bathroom. LOL!

After using Pete’s garage, we headed over to Mickey’s house. This house was far less crowded. In fact hardly anyone was in there.

You will notice that Claire keeps posing her new Minnie in a lot of the shots. LOL!

I haven't seen the Fairies, they are new since I've been there, but I don't think I'd wait 60 minutes for it!!! I love the picture of Claire and that other little girl looking at Mickey's bed, it looks like she made another new friend!

I just can't see waiting that longeither, especailly since Claire didn;t care if we saw them.

The story is that Donald and Goofy are remodeling the kitchen for him and thats why it's such a diaster. LOL!

I don't think I hav ever enjoyed a TR this much!! Claire is such a cutie and I got a little teary at some of her pictures! My DD will be 2 this year and they grow too fast! I cannot wait to take Gianna again after reading this report and seeing what a wonderful time Claire had!

When we left Mickey’s house I called DH and asked what was up. He said “he just got back and took some ibuprofen and was going to sit a little while”. I took this as he was back at the park and was sitting up front. I was wrong, as I later find out. He meant he was back at the hotel and was going to take a nap. LOL! OOPS!

Claire and I headed over to Fantasyland then to fight the crowds.
We got a fast pass for Peter Pan. I actually had to wait a few minutes as the first time I was about a minute too soon. The CM told me that the computers in the machines weren’t always on the same time as the clock up above.
We kind of wandered a bit and then I decided to do the Philharmagic. I called DH and told him we were there and he was a bit grumpy about me calling, and he told me he was resting… OK then!

I thought the fast pass entrance wasn’t anything special. We still wait in line and then we are let into the next room first, but the standby guests come in after us, and they were put closer to the door to the theater.

Claire seemed to enjoy the show much more this year than last year. I just think it’s OK.

Claire had to potty then, so as we were looking for one we asked a CM when the Belle Storytime was going to start. He said in just a few minutes and directed us to the closest bathroom near there. We RAN! LOL! We went potty and then headed off to storytime. It was full and they weren’t letting anyone else in, but they did allow Claire to stand in the entrance to watch. Claire didn’t mind and loved the show.

I thought this was Belle actually reading a story, but NOPE! Again it was a small version being acted out with some of the audience members of the Beauty and the Beast story.

Claire really enjoyed this. I thought I took pictures of her watching, but I guess I didn’t.

Next we went over to use our FP for Pooh.

We enjoyed it a lot. It did stop twice and the lights came on, but nothing major and then we would go again. Kind of a neat “different” experience really. LOL!
