Day 11 - May 8th 2007.
Weather today.. set to be a coolish 79f..! LOVELY JUBBILY! Today is my birthday.. So we were to do what I wanted to do. Which was Universal studios.. BUT the plans didn't go to schedule.. My parents had a timeshare tour at orange lake this morning... Which turned out in the end for them to buy.. So we now have a week here each year.. (Just like DVC, use the points we bought anywhere in the world..) Fabulous! Next years holiday sorted ( And my inheritance from my parents.........) This is our second home (gave us the exact room number) On the 8th floor..
As it was now early afternoon.. it was too late to go to Universal.. So we decided to go to DTD and the market place.
Planet hollywood was having a make over!
I loveeee the lizards here at DTD near the water.
Mcdonalds for lunch ..
After a while here.. we made our way back to the villa for an hour or 3.. Before heading out down the 192 , towards I . drive.. Bahama breeze for tea.. I was soooooooo excited about this..
An approaching storm - that just dumped the tiniest amount of drizzle for a few mins!
Right once we got to Bahama breeze.. it was 2 and a half hours wait for a table! Bloody hell! SOD That for a laugh no thank you! Couldnt be bothered to go to the one in LBV so headed next door to my fave restaurante back home in the UK... TGI Fridays, never been to one in the USA before.
I had a coke.. the battered green beans.. and a jack daniels burger ( AND I ate half of the meat patty... Brave boy!)
I must say that this meal was the best meal ive ever had in Florida..! The atmosphere was fab, waitress was fab , and the food was delish! Well done TGI's! Never fails me !
After tea.. headed into WDW and went for a round of Fantasia golf.. It was good fun!
What made my night was the Geordie (OR MACKEM) couple infront of us.. ohhhhhhh I love that accent soooooooo much!!
And thats it for day 11... Tomorrow.. Day 12.. Universal, Islands of adventure and sweet tomatoes ( these will probably change though lol!)
