3D glasses at Walt Disney World

Does anyone know if the 3d glasses you get at the movie theater will work for the shows at Disney World? Every time I get 3d glasses at disney world they are horrible and I find myself closing one eye the entire time. I was possibly thinking of bringing my own.

I think they would work at the ones that have been upgraded to digital. These would only work from the theaters that use Disney Digital, not Real D or IMAX 3 D.

Any that haven't will most likely not work.

Only, some of them do, as I said, the Disney Digital do, the Real D and IMAX, do not use the same technology. Although the Real D glasses may work with the films that have not had a Digital Upgrade.

The way you can tell if it will work is if at the theater, you tilt your head to the side and it gets blurry, it will work with the non-digital films at the parks, if it doesn't, it will work with the digital films in the park.

Please note that films that have been upgraded to digital do use a different technology, so the same glasses will not work at both.

My local theaters use RealD and Master Image, but since Master Image is digital, it will work in the parks.

I think the glasses were Real-D, if that makes a difference.

All but Star Tours uses the older polarization technique to achieve the 3D effect. Star Tours uses the newer non-polarized glasses.

I hate the Disney glasses also. They're dirty and beat up. Yuck!!!!!!!

On this same note is the Zenni Optical 3D clip on compatible with WDW or US 3D rides and shows? I wear glasses and the 3D glasses provide on top of my glasses is not comfortable and doesn’t always work right, the clip on would be better if it works.
