The kids started school today!!!!

Brought my 9 year old to his grade 4 class. Managed to talk to the teacher for a few minutes and told her about the Disney trip.

Brought Ava to her grade 1 class. Forgot to mention the trip but I will be dropping her off at class until she remembers how to get there so I'll make sure to mention it.

My oldest is in Grade 10! Holy crap! But he doesn't have to start today until 1pm because they only have the Grade 9's come in the morning so it's not so overwhelming with all the 10, 11 and 12's there too.

I'm off to work now!

Disney is getting CLOSER and CLOSER!!!!

I have many things to post but I'm at work right now....um...busily working...not at all looking at the DIS.

I have outfits and glowsticks and I'm working on Ava's Rapunzel wig. We're gonna see if we can braid it and add some flowers like the scene at the castle.

I've started packing and I swear Ava's suitcase is almost full already from all her dresses!! lol

I bought our Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party tickets the other day for Sept 30th. I have to pick them up at 'will call' since we didn't want to risk them not getting here in time.

I'm gonna print out my Google maps for getting to our hotel in Minneapolis and from the hotel to Mall of America today at work since my printer at home doesn't work.

19 days! I can't believe it!!! Technically 18 days and our vacation starts but 19 until we fly to Orlando and get over to WDW!!!

Me and Ava painted our nails tonight. An OPI colour called "cherry on top" and it is such a beautiful red!

I packed my new clothes last night but took pictures before I did that! Here are the shorts/capris that I bought at Marks Work Warehouse and the tanks/shirts are from Garage Clothing.

I also have the previously shown white Mickey shirt with the red bow and my muppets shirt. I think I'm pretty good for clothes now. I packed my bathing suit.

What else do I need? Something I might not be thinking of? (other than socks/underwear and toiletries.)



2 weeks from tomorrow and we'll be in Minneapolis!!!!! Then 16 days until Disney!!!!!!

Heather I have been checking on you and your family since you first started you PTR . You are getting so close now! We leave next Wednesday staying at Shades of Green across from the Polynesian for five nights then heading over to Beach Club (amazing military discount) otherwise this trip would be shorter. I think we will be at WDW during the same time. Wouldn't it be grand if we ran into each other! I will keep an eye out for you and your family.

You ask if there was anything you were forgetting to pack. You might want a pair of jeans and a light sweater or jacket just in case. Weather should be warm to hot but the air conditioning in some places is really cold. Like having dinner or a buffet and the air is blasting away. Having something to throw over your shoulders helps. I always
pack a pair of jeans in case of cooler evenings or weird weather. Plus I freeze on plane rides sometimes, no way do I wear shorts on the plane.

Your shorts and tops look super cute and I love your daughters dress. So pretty! Have a super great trip Heather looking forward to reading all about your adventures.

Aw thank you so much! I'm glad my PTR has been entertaining enough that you've kept up with it! It would be totally awesome! I'm hoping to run into LOT'S of people. I even contemplated wearing a Lime Green Mickey Head tshirt one day at MK! lol I still might make one!

I will definitely have a pair of jeans as that is what I will be traveling in. I freeze in restaurants as it is so bringing a long sleeved shirt or a sweater is a good idea. Thanks for that. OOoh and reminded me that even though I plan to wear my sandals to travel to make sure I put some socks in my carryon! My feet always freeze on planes!

ANNNNNYYYYWAAYYY I don't know if your plans for park days have changed since you first mapped them out but we will be in MK together on the 1st, DHS together on the second, and SAME AK date, and I think one of your Epcot days is the same as us!! Lol, I will have to keep on the look out for you!
Oh and we will be in MK the morning of the 5th before we leave!

Ill have to find a good picture of us and post it here so you can be on the lookout for us!!

THE FINAL PLANS:

Sept 27 - Pack the car!

Clean the house! So happy that I now have a roommate who will be here the whole time we're gone keeping the house safe!

Sept 28 - Up early for the drive to Minneapolis. We will drive 4 hours to Fargo and then get out for the kids to eat and pee and stretch there legs then we will drive the remaining 3-4 hours to Minneapolis!

We're going to go check into our hotel suite (sharing with my parents...should be fun! lol) then head over to the Mall of America to eat supper and explore a little! Off to bed early!

Our original flight time on the 29th was 9:00am but they recently changed it to:

7:30am!!!!

Ick! This means we have to get up at 5am and head to the airport! Thank goodness for the hotel shuttle because I don't think I will be even remotely awake!

But instead of getting to Orlando at 1:13pm we're now going to get there around 11:43am! So it just means more time at Disney!



Sept 29 - Arrival day. Checking in *SURPRISE* with the Royal Room! Then off to DTD on the boat for some shopping



Sept 30 - Magic Kingdom day! Heading to the gates FOR 7:30am. Yes we're crazy! But maybe we'll get to be "family of the day" but if not it's all good!

MK closes at 7pm for the MNSSHP party! This is the night we will go to it! So we will head back to POR around 3:30 to have a quick rest and get costumes as you can get into MK at 4pm even though the party doesn't start till 7pm. Mostly getting photo opps and we HAVE to meet Rapunzel with Flynn rider. Other than that I want to see the Boo To You parade and the special fire works. Not going to do too many character meets as they seem to be HUGE long lines and I'll just buy the kids candy if the lines are too long. I think it's a great opportunity to get on the big rides with little wait times!

DINNER at Riverside Mill with friends at 6pm! Possibly YEEHAW BOBS show after in the lounge! *kids allowed*

Oct 7 - Relax day! Maybe see a movie at DTD. Do more shopping. Rent a boat and go for a fun adventure. MAYBE sending Ava and Braden on the pirate adventure.

Magic Kingdom now has PM EMH the evening of Oct 7th from 10:00 PM - 1:00 AM!! I think we need to do this!

Got to use our tickets first and then should be able to add a day for only $10 each person! It's worth it I think!


Oct 8 - EPCOT DAY - TODAY IS CANADIAN THANKSGIVING! SO we plan to spend the day at Epcot and we're gonna wear our Canadian shirts! Epcot is 9am-9pm! (DHS has PM EMH today open till 11pm!)

DH and I went at the end of September 2 years ago. We had so much fun, we went back at the beginning of Sept last year! Not going this year, but I am living vicariously through everyone else's trs.

We are planning to go in September next year though! Maybe I need to start a PTR!

I have a mini umbrella I'm bringing. I hate ponchos. Lol maybe for the kids!

I can't wait! And yeah you should start a ptr! I started mine 13 months on advance! . As you can see Lol
