Well my DW & DD of 6, flew out Last Sat, 5th from Jackson, MS for a total of 36 hours in Disney. :earseek: By the time we got ME transfers and checked in to ASMo, it was 4:45. We rushed our bags (carry on only) to the room and rushed back to catch a bus to see La Nouba @ 6:00. We staying in the Woody building:

Got to La Nouba with 2 minutes to spare. Whew! Haven't taken a breath yet! La Nouba was AMAZING! If you've been you know what I mean, if you haven't...go! Our seats were on the second row in section 101 (isle thank goodness) and they were very interactive. There are no bad seats in the house. The clowns were too funny. I took one picture (without a flash) before hearing that I wasn't allowed.

After La Nouba, we walked down to our 8:00 ADRs at Raglan Road. I had read many reviews regarding Raglan and was a bit concerned but let me tell you know that we loved it. We were quickly seated (two tables from the stage) and had a great server. I was able to get me hands on a Clear Channel Cert. and had no problems using it. I was handed a total itemized bill with the $50 taken off the total. My wife and I had the Burger and my DD had chicken sliders. We also had several beers and Irish coffee with out deserts. We orders two, a chocolate orange thing (can't remember the name) and a Tiramasou (terrible spelling) like desert made with Baileys. Yum! We listened to one song before taking the bus back to ASMo. The pics from RR came out too dark. :guilty:

My DD loved Stitch on the wakeup call. We went down to breakfast and the front desk printed out our "A" boarding passes for the next morning before jumping on a bus to MK. Arrived at the park at 8:55 and experienced low crowds until about 12:00. My DD was a bit afraid of TMR so we skipped it until later when she not only decided to ride it but proceeded to ride it three times. :rotfl2:

The Christmas decorations were starting to go up and were beautiful:

At 1:00 we had ADRs for Crystal Palace and had the best server Michael. The characters came by within the first 15 minutes. After a half hour of eating, we were stuffed to the gills. Crystal palace had a great lunch buffet and the atmosphere was fun.

We went back to ASMo for my DD to nap and by 4:00, we were back in action in MK. This is the wild part! Starting at 4:30, all the rides were dead. I mean we'd walk up to TMR that had a 10 minute wait listed and walk right on! The park was like this for two hours. We had one set of fast passes for Buzz and another set for any ride given to use for getting stuck in POC for 15 mts. pirate:, bt never used them. It was the best fun we've ever had at MK.
We were lucky enough to catch Buzz, The Incredibles and Stitch. Here is our group pic with Stitch:

We have never been and ridden so much. I assume it was due to people's dinner ADRs and then the parade. We didn't want to see Spectromagic so we didn't get down to main street until 10 minutes prior to Wishes. (with hotdogs in hand). This one is dark so...

The hard part was waking up at 4:50 for a 5:30 DME pick up to the airport. Whew! Anyway, we had a great time!

I love your pictures. My daughter and i will be going next month and will be lucky if we get 36 hours total there. And of course being xmas it will be alot less.

Great report- thanks!
Did you like the Woody building? Is that one of the "preferred" locations at ASM?
How far was it to the food court and busses? Thanks for any info!

Fantasia is the prefered building in ASMo. Toy Story is very close to the main pool, food court and buses. I'd say it's the closest other than prefered. Woody was one of the buildings. Buzz was just across.

We had requested Toy Story and when we got there they had us in The Mighty Ducks, (a long way out!). The CM was very nice and called to request a switch and I got it! :teeth: It was very important for such a quick trip. I really appreciated the effort on her part.

I think everyone would agree that Toy Story is the best without paying extra for prefered.

WOW! What a whirlwind trip. Thanks for posting.

Sounds as though you had a blast ~ Thanx for posting.

Lovely piccies.

We're flying out of Jackson in a few weeks...usually fly out of New Orleans....but, you know....

Anyway..I was wondering how early I need to get to the airport. I haven't flown out of Jackson in almost 10 years....I'll be flying Southwest Airlines at 12 noon... :bounce:

Are you driving in? As a side note, the airport is rebuiding their parking lots and there is cheap long term parking on Airport Rd. look for signs. It's $5 a day, at least half the price of the closer parking and they provide free shuttles that take only a few minutes to get to the airport.

Jackson is a small airport and it only takes about 15 minutes to get through security. It depends on if you have an A boarding pass and want to sit together. As you probobly know, you want an A boarding pass and even then your early arrival get's you in the A line earlier. I'd get there about 1 hour prior if I had an A pass already printed out, but be warned, I'm an "early every time guy".

Have fun!!

Wow! You fit in a lot. I love Cirque du Soleil and my MIL just saw her very first ever -she was near speechless! Thanks for sharing.

Yes, we are driving in. We live an hour away and I have seen on the news about the new parking. We will probably do that route. I am also an "early bird" and will probably be there in plenty of time. Is it true you can print boarding passes 24 hours ahead for SWA?? or do you know??

Yes, you can print out boarding passes 24 hours in advance. Your return flight wil be at 8:35 am so you can go to the front desk on your last day at 8:36 am before leaving for the parks and have them print out your boarding passes. The staff were very used to being ask this and knew just what to do. It only took 2-3 minutes.

You can go to southwest.com or click on print boarding passes in the "Ding" window that is on your computer.

Have fun!
