$35 Epic Mickey (or other games including Just Dance) plus a Wiimote and nunchuck!

Boy oh Boy! This just keep getting better and better!

First I ordered the mini-remote and Epic Mickey. Later that day my game shipped. The next day I got an email saying they have cancelled my wiimote due to availability and refunded me $25.42. I was absolutely THRILLED with that. (Because the $50 Epic Mickey game was only costing me $15!)

Now today I get the following email:

Thank you for your recent Walmart.com order(s).

Unfortunately, we have canceled the items listed below that were part of the Wii bundle in your order. We're very sorry for the inconvenience and for the delay in notifying you of this cancellation. You may have received an email stating the cancellation was due to limited availability; it was actually due to incorrect pricing of the items on our website.

To thank you for your understanding regarding this delayed notification, we will email you a $10 eGift Card which can be applied toward a future purchase. We’ll issue one eGift Card per affected customer; this card can be used online at Walmart.com only. Please allow one week for processing.


I could not be happier! If you really think about it, I got Epic Mickey for $5!!!!:banana:

The same thing happened to me, though I never received any email about the cancellation, I just noticed that on my order status. I got the eGift card already this am! What a deal! :banana:

Are you sure they'll only be charging us the $15 for the games? That would be almost too good to be true. I didn't need the wiimotes anyway. Off to check for my $10...fingers crossed.

Yup, the only charge I had on my CC from Walmart was for $17.82 with tax/shipping!

So you were paying 20something for a 30 something remote...it would have cost the same to the company to send you the remote since the expensive part of the order was already gone. They have some smart cookies in the online ordering department :rotfl:
 
Help! I need the epic mickey paintbrush controller and I cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I might could find it?
 
Ok, so when I put Epic Mickey and a wiimote in my cart it's $70. So I guess this means I missed out? I didn't read the whole thread....I was just gonna get the game. But not for $70. I will just skip it.
 
I received the controllers today and that now completes my order! I'm so sorry for those of you who had such a hassle with this great deal.
 
Thanks to this thread, I ordered the wii-mote & Epic Mickey. I was concerned my order too would be cancelled, as many others. But it appears I may be amongst the 'slipped' through crowd. I received EM earlier thsi week, and the wii-mote delivered yesterday.
 
They canceled the wiimote part of my order. Got Epic Mickey in the mail yesterday. No charge has gone through yet on my CC and they sent me a $10 gift card thingy.
Will be watching to see what charge does go through.
Disappointed about the wiimote because my son was really hoping for another one. Right now we have the two for our family of four.
 
Yesterday our Wiimotes and MarioKart came in we got everything we originally ordered! :yay:

Three Wiimotes, Epic Mickey, MarioKart and whatever the Lightning McQueen was called - all for $127 and some change (NJ tax is 7%). We're going to have 3 very excited little boys on Christmas morning! :cool1:

im a manager at walmart, and people tell me this all the time, only to see them the next week.. we will offer some "great" deal that youll want...

I don't know about the people at your store, but the last time I shopped at Walmart before this holiday season was early 2007. After my experience with both this order and another (so issues with 2 out of 3 recent orders), as well as the subpar customer service in store, I will NOT be shopping there again. I am perfectly fine paying more for excellent customer service (and better employer practices) elsewhere.

Shopping at Walmart is an entirely differnent experience in terms of who they hire, the state of their stores, their customer service, etc., and I do not not mean that in a good way.
 
I still had this in my cart from the day the deal was posted. I just checked a few minutes ago and was able to order Epic Mickey and a Black WiiMote for the $35 price. I honestly don't need or want the remote...do you think I could return it if and when it comes in and still keep the game at the $15 price? It's not a huge deal, but we already have 4 remotes/nunchucks and I'd love to have the $20+ back! :)

Actually, it won't be all that hard for me. I only go there once or twice a year anyway. I can't stand going there because of all of the junk in the aisles and the fact that they have only three out of 500 registers open and there are always lines backed up.

I wrote off K-mart when the smarty pants cashier acted bothered by having to wring me up because she was looking at a friend's photo album. I tried to write a check and it wouldn't go through. I knew there was nothing wrong with my check but with an attitude she said, "It ain't my fault your check didn't go through." I used my debit card just to get out of there and when I got home, looked at why my check didn't go through. I could see she had entered the check number wrong into the register, so it was her fault my check didn't go through. (I've never written a bad check in my life so I knew it wasn't me.) I tried to call and complain - mostly about her attitude and was put on hold for the local manager for over 10 minutes before I gave up. I did e-mail corporate but got no response. I figured it they didn't care, I didn't care. I haven't been back to K-mart in probably 7 - 8 years, if not longer.

I meant it when I said I was done with Walmart and won't be going back. Not really sure I want to use the $10 gift card they sent me.

I agree that Walmart really messed this deal up but it's not the only store I've had problems with online orders this year.

Oh, and if anyone doesn't want their egiftcards I accept donations :rotfl2:

i know they could have handled this situation better, but it would have happened at any other retailer.
 
Here's our situation. Dh ordered Epic Mickey and a Wii Mote. After that he did some research and decided he didn't like that brand of Wii Mote, so he canceled that part of the order and ordered another brand of Wii Mote. We wound up receiving two Epic Mickey's and no Wii Mote. The Wii Mote still shows on his account as active and it showed it as being shipped as of Friday, but we don't have it yet.
Oh, and as a result of him canceling part of the order, they're sending him the $10 gift ecard!
I still hope we get the Wii Mote, we need another one. :wizard:
