We are doing Mk on Sunday April 18th. It’s me my husband and 2 kiddos (10 and 14) We have managed to get fast passes for the following: 10:40 big thunder railroad, 12:25 haunted mansion, and 6:40 7 dwarfs mine train. My thoughts were to rope drop to space mountain then head over and get on jungle cruise (must for the youngest), pirates of the Caribbean and then splash mountain (must for the oldest). Anyone think this is do able?

Maybe. If you go to Space first the lines might have really built by the time you get to Splash and maybe even Pirates. We dropped BTMRR, then got in line for JC (25 minutes). Pirates next and it was 25-30 minute wait. Both BTMRR and Splash had 50 minute waits when we got off BTMRR at rope drop. And that was last week when I think the crowds were (slightly!) lower.

If it were me, I would either get a BOG PPO breakfast or rope drop 7 dwarves. Once I had ridden it successfully I would drop the nighttime FP so I could add new ones all day. Mk is a pretty easy place to do it.

OR I would see if there are any space mountain Fps available after big thunder and trade that out for HM. Then rope drop adventureland and frontierland.

OR rope drop space and then go to splash next. Then JC, then pirates.

Your plan as it is is ok, but I'm betting splash will be long by the time you get there. JC and pirates are easier to get as 4th fp so that's why the other suggestions.

That sounds ambitious to me. I would rope drop the most difficult must do (splash), then do jungle cruise (since that is your other must do) and see if you have time for space and/or pirates before your first FP.

I don't think you'll be able to fit those in before BTMR at 10:40. I would skip Space Mountain and rope drop splash, then pirates, then jungle cruise then back to BTMR.

I would stay to the left and do all the attractions in Adventureland and Frontierland. This is what I typically do, and I get most, if not all of the attractions you listed done within 2 hours of park opening. I would probably start on Splash Mountain, then Pirates, and then Jungle Cruise.

First- I think it's sunday April 19th.
agree about dropping the late FP.
RD 7DMT. Refresh to see if you can move up the other two several times. Grab whatever for a first one- I actually see a space mountain 9:15 listed now on touring plans as available. You have a decent shot of getting a Space Mountain FP at some point if u keep trying- better than 7DMT. If you do it that way- you can have 5-7 fast passes easily over the day- and even wait an hour or so for Space Mountain later if u want and ride a lot more stuff.

But I'd drop the 7d, and swap for 9:15 Space right now.

I’ll definitely look at that. Thank you

Just a reminder: main street USA opens by 8am every morning, for a 9am park opening.
Whatever you decide to rope drop be at that spoke by 8:30 to be towards the front of the pack
I would do adventureland followed by splash
I see the morning rope drop process every Monday morning and i would recommend keeping your 7dmt fp, its pretty hectic the rope drop for that and some morning you lose all advantage by thre attraction being closed

Unless there is a huge crowd, it should work.
If the park opens at 9, they should be off Space by 9:15. Walk over to Jungle cruise, off by 9:45, short walk to Pirates. The line should still be under 20 minutes, so off by 10:30 worst case.
Even if Splash has a line should still be able to make BTMRR before 11:40 (and you have at least a 5-10 minute window).

I do agree trying to move up 7DMT if possible to get more FPs during the day. Even keep checking throughout the day as they become available.
Changing RD to 7DMT could work. However, unlikely to have less than a 15-20 minute wait unless you are at the very front of the hub as most at RD are headed to 7DMT or PP. But that does open more possibilities for the day.

Yea only reason I didn’t fast pass space mountain is because I’m not 100 percent sure the 10 year old will ride it. She says she will buttt lol I think she will change her mind for it. The oldest really wants to and said she’d stand in like for it. I’d be tempted to just skip 7DMT all together. Oh the choices lol

My worry is keeping that 6PM FP.
I think no matter what you do- the morning will be great. It's from 11-6 that is concerning. If you RD 7D, you've ridden that and have 3 fastpasses you will finish by noon, and easily grab 3 more over the day. Add in waiting in between if you must and you could essentially double the things you do from 11-6- easily. It's an April Sunday- it will not be a slow day. FP will be your friend. If you have that early SM, you can RD 7D, head to jungle cruise and pirates then double back for SM I think time wise. You may just do JC, then to SM- then double back to Pirates, your BTM FP along with Splash. You might even grab them as refresh earlier passes at the same time- then work the refresh to grab stuff around the back. .....just my 2 cents though- there are lots of options at MK that work. But I think the overriding thing is knowing the must do rides- knocking them out, then refreshing a lot....

Then don’t do Space at RD. Give her time in the park to warm up to it. Maybe after BTMRR and/or 7DMT, she’ll be feeling braver.
Work to modify the 7DMT to an earlier time. If you can’t manage that, try to get there at RD. Yes, you will lose your RD advantage for the other rides. But if you can then dump the later 7DMT FP, you are free to pick up same day FP for other attractions.

Talked to the girls last night they both were fine with dropping 7DMT. The youngest said she is ok with riding Space Mountain after I showed her what it’s like with the lights on and off. Got to love you tube lol. We managed to snag FP at 2 for it so it frees up extra FP for the day. We are going to RD splash mountain for the oldest then JC for the youngest. Thank you guys for helping out.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a BOG reservation for 8:20 on my MK day, but it sounds like it needs to be before this to get and advantage over others on Main Street to try to rope drop 7 Dwarfs.

You won't be able to get it for before 8:00. Unless there are Extra Magic Hours, this reservation will still be useful. Yes, everyone is allowed on main street. But only those with PPO breakfast reservations at CRT or BOG are allowed past the hub. So you still will be behind the castle and ready to go and able to be first in line for a ride if you get out of your breakfast in short order. They will let you go on and line up near a ride and then hold you there until the castle show ends. Then you will get in line before the rope drop crowd gets close.

*** There is a half marathon on Sunday, the 19th **** Morning transportation will be an issue.

(You wrote Sunday the 18th, but if you are going Sunday.. you may have issues getting around property)
