Does anyone know if the new 311 public bus route from the airport to DS allows ECV scooters on the bus? I cannot find the info on their website.

Yes. I use Lynx busses regularly when traveling to Orlando and have found the wheelchair spots to always be in good working order and rarely used (as opposed to LA where it’s common only 1 of 3 spots on a bus works). They use tie-downs and not the new squeeze machine Disney has on their new busses.

Orlando also has the SunRail train which is newer and extremely accessible, including a very nice and massive handicap bathroom. Arriving by Lynx gets you a discount on the SunRail and free public bus transfer at your destination.

It’s also possible to take an ECV through public transit from LAX to Disneyland. The ART bus (Anaheim) public transit is also extremely accessible although their busses use lifts and not ramps. ART connects the hotels to Disneyland and other tourist spots.

Lynx has several bus routes stop at Universal’s Citywalk bus loop where all the resort busses also drop off. SeaWorld has a Lynx stop. Orlando is fairly accessible by public bus to many tourist destinations.
