30th Anniversary and refurbishments questions

Hi all! My Mum has expressed an interest in us going to Disneyland Paris again, probably next year (2022) and then maybe again in 2023 with my sister and nephew.

I know that 2022 is the 30th anniversary, the actual celebration is in April but I'm wondering, from people's experiences of previous DLP anniversaries, is there likely to be extra anniversary "stuff" all of next year, or is it only for the specific dates in April and the rest of next year will be "standard" DLP?

My next question is about refurbishments, the Castle, and Walt Disney Studios park getting Arendelle and Marvel sections. The only information I can find about when they will be finished is "some time in 2022". Is there anywhere I can find more specific dates, or any page to bookmark that will have more information when we know it?

Basically, I would like to go when the refurbishments are done (although I think WDS is going in stages and Frozen land will be a while away, I'm not as fussed about that one, it's Marvel land that interests me)

In 2017 they had a bigger party (extravagant parade etc.) for the 12th of April. We got a new parade. Indeed whole of 2017 '/ early 2018 was the anniversary year. The least I remember is that the Main Street Characters met in their 25th anniversary outfit and for little girls there was a 25th anniversary princess dress. I am quite sure merchandise was also available the entire year. I would assume the same for the 30th.

With Disneyland Paris you never know how it goes with refurbishments. And now with corona that has delayed things, I wouldn't count on anything.
The castle is probably done this december. This we know because it is announced the New Year's Eve Party will have fireworks. For the other refurbishment,
I would keep an eye on ED92 or Pixiedust.be social media channels. They have daily/weekly reports and sometimes include pictures of how the refurbishments are going. They are always in the loop of press releases, and usually post the news a few hours before DLP does.

They usually do an extended celebration every 5 years for the anniversaries with Merchandise and new parades and/or fireworks. I imagine the castle will be complete and It’s a small world out of refurb ( hopefully with characters!) The Marvel area is rumoured to be complete by Summer 2022 and a new parade for the anniversary. ( personally I would prefer a new night time castle show - or bring back Dreams - than a new parade)
I don’t suppose the anniversary will be as spectacular as the 25th but hopefully it will have something special! I’ve booked to go from the 11th - 14th April

Thank you, I'm thinking about suggesting early September to Mum, hopefully the weather will still be good but the kids will be at school so it should be quieter, and it sounds like Avengers Campus will be finished by then, fingers crossed
