I just attended my 30th high school reunion (two days before my surgery - see other thread), and I had lost 60 pounds in the last 6 months. The folks at the reunion didn't know that, but the one thing many people said to me was, "I recoginized you from across the room!" Maybe it's because I am not gray as many of us are already 
, but I took it to mean that I was close to my old body shape!
Hooray for Atkins and me!
It was a cool experience. I loved shopping for and wearing my new dress - a size 18 after wearing 3x! It was great seeing some people I went to elementary school with, and it was really fun reminiscing with my clique - the band! FHHS Federals rule!! (And, although I ate three tiny desserts at the dinner, I wasn't tempted to overeat otherwise.)
