$30 Rite Aid transferred prescription gift card question

Does anyone know if they give you the gift card that same day? Or do they mail it to you?

You get the $30 card when you pick up the RX. The other $5 for the next two month will be mailed to you. They made a point to tell me that when I picked up my RX.
