Great update. It has been a long time since I have been at HS at night, so I loved seeing those pics. I am really also wanting another stay at the WL, we sure had a magical trip there! Have a wonderful Christmas and safe travels!
Thanks! I love DHS at night.

I remember reading your TR from WL....seems like yesterday!
What a wonderful night you had! Looks relaxing too. We always eat at ABC. I guess it was a convenient choice on our first trip, and it is easy to find. I love the cuban sandwich. I know it gets poor reviews, but it is different than just the usual burger and fries. It has some good breakfast choices, too!
I need to get by there for breakfast one day. That's the first time I had eaten there.
So many fun pictures! Love the videos, too.

You had some fun on Tower of Terror, didn't you?
Hollywood Studios has a special 'vibe' at night with all its lights. It's been a few trips since we've watched Beauty and the Beast, so Jill and I were talking the other day about how we need to be sure to do it. Bella is at a good age now to really enjoy it. She says she wants a Belle birthday party, so she will probably love it.
I ALWAYS have fun on ToT! How can you not? I love DHS at night....so pretty! If I was turning 3 I'd have a Belle birthday party too.
I agree that there is something special about DHS at night. I'll admit, it is my least favorite park (although ToT is one of my favorite rides too!), but at night it just seems transformed! There is something special about those neon lights and uplight palm trees. Too bad it can't always be night time there!
ToT makes it one of my favorite parks. That and TSM and Beauty & the Beast and Fantasmic - it beats out EPCOT and AK in my opinon. MK will always be my fav though.
Cute video in the pool. I enjoyed winding down at the WL pool after a long park day! Sorry about Fantasmic, but at least when you miss something on one trip it makes for a new experience during the next trip!
Merry Christmas to you, Ray, Seth and all your families.
I was okay with missing Fantasmic b/c I knew it would be stressful to try to work it into our schedule. Staying up past 8:30 is something Seth doesn't do often! Hope you had a good Christmas too!
WL at night looks so magical! That was one of our choices for this first trip. We decided on the Poly, but I have 2 meals planned at WL so that we can check it out for the next trip

Glad to see you ended up liking ABC. That is the one lunch I do not have planned for this trip. Everyone bashes HS counter service. So you gave me hope. Looking forward to your next installment. Have a great Holiday!
I love WL at night! I have always found that the Backlot Express has decent food, so if ABC is not on your list try there. I haven't tried Pizza Planet but how can you go wrong with pizza, either?
Your pictures of WL are making my infatuation with that resort even bigger! I am wanting to stay there so badly!
Poor Seth & his eye! I'm glad he wasn't phased by it at all, though!
Hooray for Hollywood! Hollywood Studios at night is just so pretty. I love the Tower of Terror videos... such a fun ride!!
I loved WL...we'll be staying there again for sure! I love DHS at night, too. So pretty!
So glad you scrapped the plans and went with your gut.
You made good use of the pool and poor Seth was pooped after that.
Great video of ToT I can't wait, I have 7 days.
I am booked at VWL for July next year and WL for BCV or BWV but now you have me thinking I should cancel the waitlist.
Going with your gut at Disney is usually a good thing....usually. Hope you're riding ToT right now!

And if not hope you get to soon. We loved VWL. The only drawback was the long hallway we had to deal with (luck of the draw) and the fact that the parking was so far away, but if you're not driving that doesn't matter.
Looks like you guys had a great night at DHS!

Glad you got to ride ToT...that's my favorite too!!!

Seth is too cute in that video! Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
I would have cried had I not got a chance to ride ToT....love that ride!
Great update. That picture of Anna carrying Luke just cracks me up! Very creative (and I've felt that way myself many times
Isn't it funny how every time you get to a park Seth falls asleep?!! That must be a magic stroller or something.....
Awesome you got on Toy Story Mania with no wait AND no fast pass!

but totally agree it is soooooooo frustrating how the Studios eateries seem to shut down way before park closing
They were being silly but I'm sure many parents have felt that way! It seemed like walking through park gates proved to be sleeping medicine for Seth. So weird! We were brave and waited it out for TSM....I figured that 40 minute standby time just hadn't been updated lately since the park was about to close. And I was right!
Oh my goodness!!! I love, love, love this sweet picture!!!
Thanks! Glad we got a photopass guy who was willing to play off the fact that Seth had passed out.
Merry Christmas Dawn, Ray and Seth
Thanks, Pat! Hope you had a great one, too!
Your ToT video is hilarious Dawn!!! I'm glad you all had a fun night in DHS. I hope you had a Merry Christmas!
Thanks....love to scream and laugh on that ride!
Hi Dawn!
I came over from Jill and Memom's TR, and I am now caught up! First, can I just say that Seth is an absolute doll?! I have really enjoyed watching his facial expressions; what a cutie!

I was excited to see that you braved the world with a little one, we are headed back in May with an almost 1 year old. Glad to see that you didn't post only the rainbows and lollypops version, the truth makes it so much more entertaining anyway!!
Congrats on your first 5K! I just did my first one, the St. Jude Marathon Weekend in Memphis, but I did not do as well as you!
Looking forward to reading more!
Kelli
Thanks for reading and welcome!!! Thank you about Seth. We like him.

It's a very different experience going with a baby...that's for sure. Just be prepared with snacks and diaper kits (let me know if you don't know what I'm talking about and I'll explain), let them nap when they want to and go with their schedule instead of yours and you'll be fine. And congrats on your first 5K as well!

I'm doing another one in March. My goal for that is 40 minutes....we shall see!
