3 TERRIBLE ATTRACTIONS! Magic Kingdom (A.K.A. why I no longer like Oliver)

The terrible thing is just the show I think people are getting too caught up on the word.

I actually agree a little with Oliver. I hate Its A Small World and if I have to ride it with friends or to kill time I actually look up and count how many ceiling tiles are missing. Maybe hate is a strong word and maybe terrible is too but it is the bottom of the list even lower than the tree house on how I rank attractions at MK.

I also think people completely ignore the fact that these are their lists. We are allowed to have completely different lists. I for one would have Its a Small World and Swiss Family Tree House. If i had to chose a 3rd it would be Stitch. I mean I actually have fun on Stitch but I think the space could be used in a better way.

I think Oliver's niche is to appeal to a different demographic. We already have the die-hards who love the classic WDW but it seems that the team has tried to expand to pull in the younger sort. I'm all for differing opinions and understand that they are trying to appeal to a larger audience. I personally hate Disney Jr. but I don't mind that it exists at WDW. I just walk past it to the things I am interested in. I'm an old person and I understand the need to appeal to more than just my sort. To each his/her own.

I have to say...it's a little strange to keep producing videos of worst this, overrated this and terrible that!

Uh, you guys are a travel agency.

Might as well advertise and say, come to WDW where it's boiling hot and twice as humid and stand in long lines for terrible attractions and the worst food! Extra expensive! Alligators are a bonus! Hurricanes is you're lucky!

The DIS Unplugged has always been unbiased which means both the good and the bad. It's advice, not something to be taken as biblical. Like they say with restaurant reviews, this is a snapshot of an experience and could be similar or different to what one experiences when at the World. I think the team does a great job focusing on the good and the bad.

I know the Dis tries to be unbiased and also that it's not the gospel. I am also not the least bit worried anyone at Disney is seriously going to consider ripping out a Walt Disney's original to open a bar in the middle of MK or DL.

I stand by what I said. Spending a whole video using words like "terrible" turns me off. It just does, especially in reference to classic Disney. Also I think almost everyone who goes to Disney wants to do a huge mix of activities, shows, dinners, dark rides, roller coasters, etc. Few of the rides can stand on their own, they are part of a much greater masterpiece and the complete Disney vacation.

I am a heavy enough listener to know that Oliver, Steve and company recent "just for fun" videos do not translate or represent the opinions, knowledge, thoughtful advice and decades of experience I have seen in various Dreams agents. Unfortunately, I don't think most causal listeners are aware of that distinction. That's why I was providing the feedback.

I know we aren't going to agree on this, but since Dreams does sponsor all of the podcast shows, in my opinion, to spend 10 minutes blasting not only your flagship product, but blasting original core Walt Disney ideas, is counterproductive. I think there have been a lot of "worst this, overrated that and terrible that" without providing constructive alternatives or advice. Dustin used to do these ranking best/worst format shows all the time, they were thoughtful, entertaining and informative. (I rewatched one today, in fact.) This one just left me scratching my head.

Like I just said, just my feedback, nothing more.

I guess I see why Pete has to put disclaimer everytime he does one and emphasizes it's just his opinion.
I figured most would understand it's implied that it's the person(s) in each videos opinion.

I do have to say...can't stand Small World. But that's because I was subjected to it as a song at a young age . Still made sure I experienced the ride though! :)
Totally agree with how you expressed this, same way I feel. I do make sure to do this "must do" every visit though, even though I groan inwardly by the THIRD time I hear the chorus, and am INSANE by the END! LOL
