Ooh hello just 3 sleeps to go and a couple of last minute questions. I've seen the stop guide on DLRPmagic for Once upon a dream to plan where to view that from - 2 Ds's so no princesses for us! Where do you suggest viewing Fantillusion and Candleabration from please (search is not working for me - sorry). If this is self explanatory when you're there please excuse me - first trip for all of us and just want to make the most of it!
Also are Cinemagique and Animagique of interest to little children (almost 3 and 5) - having trouble fitting them into my rough itinerary if we want a jaunt up the Eiffel Tower too and haven't got a clear idea of what they are about from the various sites.
Many thanks.
Freckleface.

I can't really help with the others - we saw Enchanted Candleabration from the pavement right at the top of Main St, just before you get to the hub in front of the castle.

Animagique is definitely geared towards the younger children - lots of puppetry and music, singing and dancing to songs from their favourite Disney movies - Lion King, Dumbo, Little Mermaid, Jungle Book etc.

Cinemagique - not so much - its more of a tribute to the movie greats of bygone days (plus some newer stuff) but not cartoony.

Thank you Elaine will make sure we go to Animagique - I'll take them and DH can ride Crush/ RnR I think, I'm trying to make sure the smalls get to see/do the things they will enjoy and Dh gets to ride the big thrill rides plus everybody is warm, fed and rested! Is it easy to get a good view of the Enchanted Candleabration?
Thanks freckleface

It is if you're prepared to stake out your spot about half an hour beforehand.
We didn't and although our spot looked great when we took it, within minutes there were folk in front of us hoiking children up onto their shoulders, which does kinda block your view.

My daughter and niece more or less had to do a little dance all the way through, so they could jiggle about and peer around other people to see any of it.

The music is lovely though, and everyone can see the castle being lit up :goodvibes .

Thank you Elaine. Does anyone have any suggestions where to aim to view Fantillusion from please or any other suggestions for Candleabration?
Thank you

Just got back 2 weeks ago. Candleabration is good anywhere around the 'hub' However it depends on what you are after. We went for 4 nights and saw it in 4 different places, as follows.
1. Between the castle front and hub. Here you will see the characters/princesses up close as they come out of the castle and onto the stage. They stop for photos, shake hands etc. They also dance a little whilst the others are on stage.
2. Right up against the hub gates (have to get here early though). You will have an un-obscured view of the characters and what is happening on stage, great for photos.
3. End of Main Street (near Caseys) Here you only have to get there 10 mins before, plenty of great photo opportunities and a great view of the castle. We found the nearer the hub the worse view of the castle you got (Too many trees)
4. This was our last viewing spot and actually our best. We stood at the other end of Main Street out side the Emporrium. As things started and the characters came on stage everyone russhed forward leaving us so much space. As we had seen it 3 times previously were not bothered about 'seeing it' but just being there was enough taking in the music and atmosphere was great. Some of the event involves the Chrismas tree and the lamp-posts down Main Street which we had full view of. It also snowed on Main Street where it doesn't at the hub and the memories we have from this particualar night are great. We were dancing in the snow to the music, no-one bothered us and as I looked at my wife she had a tear in her eye. PURE DISNEY MAGIC!
As for Fantillusion. I was actually very disappointed. We are 'die hard' Disney park fans and will queue up for hours to get a great spot (well in the hot Florida sun anyway) But this and the daytime parade in the Studios was quite honestly ......POOR. Don't want to put you off, and I'd even say don't miss it. Make up your own mind but I just want to manage your expectations. It simply was not up to the standard of the Disney parades we are use to in the USA.
Anymore questions just PM me........Oh and have a great time! :santa:
