I managed to cobble together 5 nights at the fort. I first booked Sat thru Tuesday. Next booked Thurs when I saw it available online. Kept looking for about a month and finally scored Fri night. Now I have 3 reservations and when I called to have them combined was told it cant be done! :confused3

This seems crazy to me, there is no one in customer service that can over book Thurs and Fri for a moment, complete my 5 nights on one reservation, and then immediately cancel the individual Thurs. and Fri. that I booked?

Has anyone had any luck getting multiple reservation combined at a sold out resort?

I've not had this happen but I know from other issues that sometimes calling back and getting a different CM can make all the difference. The next one may be able to help you. Good luck.

In the past we have had 2 or even 3 different reservations. When we arrive at the Fort, the CM checking us in was able to put all the reservations on one key card for our stay. We did not have to move during the stay. So, if they cannot get the reservations combined before you arrive, the CMs at the Fort should be able to take care of it when you arrive.

Call back and talk to a different CM, it seems that some know what the heck we're talking about and some don't.

I have 4 cobbled together for Christmas week and had the same experience with the first CM I talked to. The one after that knew just what to do, and another one after that confirmed for me that mine are linked.

Thanks for the suggestions. All 3 reservations are for the same site level, tent/popup. Will call and try again with a different cast member.

We had multiple separate reservations similar to yours for our trip last month. When we checked in we asked about staying in the same room the whole time and they said they would do their best. Indeed, we did not have to change rooms and when I asked a CM about it I was told that they prefer for you not to (I'm guessing it saves them on some housekeeping?) so they usually work it out.

Lizziemom,

If they are all the same type of site you won't have to move. At worst, they might make you check in officially on the arrival day of each reservation. At best, I bet you can get it taken care of when you check in initially.

Have a great trip! BTW, when exactly will you be going? Is it coming up soon? :surfweb:
