3 pirates and a princess Trip report Day 1

Day 1

After a good nights sleep we drove to Manchester gave the car to the chauffeur who was waiting to take it to park it and we were finally ready to catch a flight.
We had no tickets because of an earlier mix up so had not managed to pre book seats or do any of the check in procedure so I was dreading where they had placed us!! I had however had a long conversation with Virgin about Camerons special needs and the fact he had cancer and aspergers and they had assured me that they would not put us by the toliets or in the middle of loads of people .
Image my surprise when we go to the check in guest and we are given an invititation to the vip lounge at Manchester Airport oh my god it was amazing the kids wre relaxed we were relaxed and we could give cam his meds without loads of people staring at us!!
At our request we boarded the plane last and we had the seats right at the front of economy - perfect !! Big thanks to Virgin they really kick started our holiday with style.
The Boys in the Vip lounge -

The flight was awful we had turbulence from about 2 hours in till about half an hour before we landed by the time we got off i was green
Keira decided her seat was good enough and ad moved to sit with another family they were fab and just laughed at her insitence that that seat was better. Because she is 2 she also felt the need to go and say hello to every single person in economy!! The virgin hostesses were fantastic with the kids and made sure that cameron was as comfortable as he could be!! The manager that day even sat with him for a while talking to him about his obsession with wrestling!!
We arrived on time and flew through customs - He had us in bits when he described each of our kids personalities even though we had only stood there for 10 secs!!
We were out of the airport in just under an hour fantastic!!

I can certainly empathise with you as regards to the turbulance, we had it too on our outbound journey
