Hello Everyone!

We have booked the Land/Sea Package for November 12-19, 2009. There will be me, my spouse and our son who will be 4 at that time. This will be Ryan's first visit to Disney, so we decided we wanted to give him the best of both worlds with the Land/Sea Package. We also have 3 other staterooms booked for family. All staterooms are Cat 7 Deluxe Stateroom with Naviators Verandah. Has anyone stayed in Cat 7? Could you tell me a bit about how it differs from Cat 6. I know the Verandah is smaller!

What resort would you suggest for the Land portion. I have read so much about each resort but I wanted some first hand advice. Our options:

1. Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin
2. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
3. Disney's Polynesian Resort
4. Disney's Beach Club Resort
5. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

Right now we are leaning toward the AKL. :confused3

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Chris

Personally, we have chosen then Beach Club Resort for the simple fact that it is within walking distance to Epcot and Boardwalk with all those fabulous restaurants, just a boat ride away from the Studios and it's Disney.
The Swolfins are also within walking distance of all that, but you just don't get the Disney magic there.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is so far away from the parks.
I think the Polynesian is so dark although very, very convenient being on the Monorail line.
And the Saratoga Springs although conveniently located to DTD, is so big and seems a bit on the impersonal side.

I hope I haven't :scared: you or given you a :headache:

Thank you for your thoughts...you have got me leaning toward the Beach Club. How long is the bus ride from AKL to the MK?
