3 night stay at DVC then to Pop Century

I was able to book a 3 night stay at OKW and the remaining days I will have to go to Pop Century since there are not DVC studios available (February 19-21). I am currently on a wait list (fingers and toes crossed) for the remaining days.

I don't want to spend my morning waiting for a bus so that I can take my luggage to Pop Century, I was hoping if someone would know if OKW can make arrangements to transfer my luggage to Pop Century. I was thinking of calling Pop Century and asking for a late check-in so we don't loose anytime at the park that day.

Has anyone ever had to deal with this?

yes you can have a luggage transfer done between any resort. we do it in reverse on every trip. i usually call the night before and ask when they like you set it up. usually you can just ring them in the morning though.

if you're doing dvc and non dvc i would suggest doing the non dvc resort first. i know i could not go from my home at BWV to Pop, but no trouble going Pop to BWV

I wish I could do Pop first but I can't get a reservation at OKW or any (reasonable) DVC resort with a studio during Feb. 19 - 21.

Yes they will transfer your luggage for you. When you call belhop service let them know that your luggage will be going to the other resort. We always mention it again when bellhop picks up the bags, usually no need they have it documented and you need to sign a form.

Go over to Pop Century to check-in and just let their front desk/bell hop know that you are expecting luggage from OKW. Then head off to the parks

They will tell you that it could be until 4pm for your luggage to get there. They will not deliver luggage to room unless you are there. We usually have a message on our phone when we return from the parks.

We've done this many times both from hotels to DVC and from DVC to Hotel and once even from DVC to Hotel to DVC.

We did this very thing last January. Before we left OKW on check-out day, we called bell service and told them that we needed our luggage transferred to POP. When we got to POP later that day, we checked in and our luggage was brought up to the room about five minutes later. It was a smooth process. You should not have any trouble.
