3-NIGHT BAHAMIAN CRUISE May 13-16, 2010 (Ship Disney Wonder)

Tomorrow is the big day. GOt into MCO on time and now I am in my small, non DIsney room, just waiting to get back on the shuttle to MCO in the morning. See everyone on board~!

Where was everyone? I kept running into Dr. Girlfriend (because she's stalking me) and my wife ran into 1Goofy, but we never saw anyone else.

Well, hope everyone had a great time and made it home safely. We could not have had better weather. Never had the seas so calm before.

Well, I waited at the Promenade Lounge between drill and sail away, but was the only one there. Oh well. It was fun, sorry I missed everyone. I guess I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Did anyone go to the art auction?

No art auction for us. The ship was packed. Completely full I read as there were no upgrades available. Also heard there were over 700 kids. Seemed like a large portion of very little ones. I've never seen so many strollers on a Disney ship.

I've started a TR if anyone is interested.

You know the funny thing is, when you called out my name, I almost didn't turn around because I was thinking no one could POSSIBLY know who I was...LOL. I forgot ;) And was half asleep coming out of Alice in Wonderland!

Oh yeah, the kids, so many under 7. Like LOTS, and I saw several infants. I think the FL Residents rates filled the ship. I didn't go see ALice, the timing wasn't good. I did see The Princess and the Frog, which was OK, but I am glad I saw it for free and now I won't have to buy it. I am at that awkward age, no grand kids to buy it for.

I was eavesdropping on a conversation on the beach, well not eavesdropping, 4 people were speaking very loudly. And as I am pretty hard of hearing, they must have been really loud. Anyway I heard lots of interesting facts about the Food and Wine festival, the ultildors, (the younger woman was a face character for a while) and lots of other "facts". I was also told by someone that the reason the ships are selling out is because DCL sets aside 20 to 25% of the upper deck (5, 6,. and up) rooms for the Vacation club people. All the time. Where do people come up with this?

Three nights was OK, I would rather more so that I can be even lazier. I still haven't finished the book I started at the pol because it is so bad!

The pizza, it was really really good! The stone crab claws were tasteless.

Steph - yeah, I saw you and I was just running up several flights of stairs on my way to get the kids for something. I wanted to see Alice too, but the timing for me was all bad - by the time everyone took showers, it was too late, so I read a book out by Cove Cafe - I saw you there too looking for your DH. Its just odd that I saw you so much and no one else.

Mickeyfan1 - I thought the pizza was just OK (at least from Pinocchio) and thought the crab claws were good. They were boiled without much seasoning, but I just add it afterwards.

Isn't that funny, people have different takes on the food. I had veggie, Hawaiian, and BBQ chicken pizza and thought it was all really good, but I was also hungry and like pizza, so there you go. The crab claws, maybe it was me, they were really hard to crack open and the meat didn't come out in one piece, I had to scrape it off the inside of the claw with a spoon.

I am looking froward to January and seeing what other goodies I might have.

I forgot, I did see a piggy person clean out 2 trays in the Cove display, for herself. I know it was for herself because she took them all and sat down at a table there and shoveled them in.

We were definatley there!!! LOL I met Goofy (as Casey loves to call him) while Casey was getting her hair braided, we linked our Dinners which was nice. Relax and chat. We hung out at the pool a lot.
Hit the theatre a few times, shopped, Did the Pirates party, shopped, Saw Friendship Rocks in the theatre and did I meantion we shopped? LOL
LOVED THE PIZZA! LOL
We did the couple massage, which was DIVINE!!!! we booked for the 7 day Magic next year April 30th

I was at the Friendship rocks too. Funny thing, our kids had done it the last 2 times (when it was called something else) and said they were not really interested in doing it this time. However, I was laying out at Cove Cafe with a good book and the pager went off. It said "Your child is attending the Friendship Rocks - meet us at the Walt Disney theater." So I went and my kids never showed up. It was only 15 minutes and so I stayed and clapped for all the other little kids.

Pizza is so subjective and there are so many varieties. I'd heard the best pizza was from room service, but I was never in the room more than 15 minutes unless I was sleeping and RS always said a minimum of 30 minutes.

Everyone should post their photos with strangers in the background so we can see if we can find ourselves. There was a post on the cruise forum like that.

I have some pics in my blog (link in sig) but believe it or not, no crowd pics.

I told lbourne in person, but I was uber annoyed at CC. I put my stuff in a hammock and was sitting next to my husband, talking to him, (he was in the adjoining hammock) and some pre-teen girl was THROWING my stuff out onto the ground! My camera, my shoes, the bag...I was like, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" Sheesh!!

That's pretty bad. Did you look around for the parents?

Work? Nope, just getting the pool balanced, doing some errands, the usual.

Life is good! I found a really pretty top for dinner on my cruise coming in September.

I book November Dream.

Can I recommend http://www.troublefreepool.com/

The best site for pool owners.

Thanks. I'll be looking into it.

We just got the pool built and this is the first week I can "normalize" it. We had to wait for the finish to cure. But it is all good now. Beautiful crystal clear water, a little on the chilly side, but that won't last long.

We've been busy at work and now 1 of the girls will be out so it's just me and the manager. Enjoying the weekend!

Goofy1, here is my email addy Dianatlol@hotmail.com I dont remember if I ever gave it to you

Got it; I know I owe you some pics! Tell Ken & Casey that Goofy says Hi!
