Hi,

We will be on the cruise with you. We don't do FE, sorry - just too short of a cruise. However, if you happen to see us on board, please stop us and say Hi.

This will be our 4th Disney Cruise - 3rd with kids. We are from Vero Beach, FL and school is out on Friday, so we decided to take a cruise and take advantage of the Florida resident rates. Those traveling are, me (41), DW (41), DS1 (7) and DS2 (11). We are traveling with another family with DS (11) and DD (5?). And possibly a third family, but don't know for sure yet.

Pics from our last Disney cruise so you might recognize us this cruise....

just wanted to say hello and that this will be our first disney cruise in may! do you know when is checkin open and pre take off party?

I think the terminal opens around 10:00 - 10:30, and then they let you start boaring anywhere from 11:30 - 12:00.

The sail away party (Adventures Away Celebration) starts around 4:15 - right after the life boat drill which is at 4:00.

I suggest you go here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/cr-stateroom-navigator.htm

and get familiar with the Navigators. They don't change often - of course, the movies and things like that will be different, but it is a great pre-planning tool. Check back for more current ones as the cruise nears.

Tell us more about yourself and family.

HI all,

This will be our first time on a Disney cruise and we are very excited! :cool1:We live in the Pembroke Pines/Hollywood area, FL and our family consists of me (39), my husband (41) our son, (5) and our daughter (2).

For those of you who have traveled on DCL in the past, do you know if they offer Soy milk??? I only ask because that is what my daughter drinks (she has allergies) and I was concerned about it.

Also, are there any tips you can think of for 1st timers????

Thanks!:mickeyjum:tinker:

Make sure you get the first seating for dinner if you can; 2nd one is probably too late for your kids.

Add us to the list, Me Diana 35, DH Ken 46, DD Casey 9

This is our second cruise and yes we will do the FE, anyone putting a list together of who is involved and the room numbers so we know who everyone is?

As far as I know it's just the folks on this thread for FE...this is only our 2nd cruise too...me (Geoff 46), Nancy (29 several times - but not older than me - I'm not going there!) and Patrick (7)...if its just you and us we wont have to pack too much...will we?!

I guess not!! Last year what we did was each day slip some goodies in the FE. I can't wait and know that it will be here before we know it!

Anyone have the address and info for sending your packages to the wonder before the trip? I lost my info from last year

I re-found the info...

We should get a list together of who wants to do the FE's That way I know to make sure and send up enough goodies in a box to be delivered to our stateroom.

Even though I don't want to participate in the FE, I hope you get enough people who do want to. Seems like the longer cruises get the most people in the meets board. Since school is in for most, its only a 3 day cruise, and Disney is offering a Florida Resident rate, I suspect the ship won't be full.

Last year when we went at about this ame time we had quite a bit of people. I hope so... I'll still hang up our FE and such even if we do not get enough people. I love how it looks plus it makes it easier to find your room! LOL

Hello Everyone!
My family will be on this cruise as well! It will be me, DH, DD13 and DD7. This will be a surprise cruise for our girls. They know that we are going on a vacation (land) in May but the cruise part is a surprise. DH and I are so excited and can't wait to tell our DDs.

Awesome!! What a neat surprise!!! We should all meet up at some point on the ship for drinks! My DD Casey 9, loves the labs they have, hard to pull her out of them!

What happened to our little group? Where is everyone?

Who is doing the FE's and gifts? I'll make a list and room numbers
