3 little boys, 2 new parks to explore & 1 first time onsite & ddp!

I didn't hear about the monorail crash! That is just awful. :sad1:

Opinions/thoughts on the ADRs/park touring - We did Fantasmic once and while we were glad we did it, it's nothing we care to rush back to do. It just wasn't our thing. However, I bet if you keep trying back to get what you want, you'll get it and can arrange your schedule to fit it right.

If you REALLY want to see Fantasmic, I don't think its a waste to add a park day just for the show. That's a really pretty cheap show if you think about it! :goodvibes

Wow, look at all of your Disney stuff. Oh, how I love shopping for Disney, can't wait!! Although, i'm sure i'll be starting up soon enough.

That's great that your ADRs are booked. We ended up switching our park days around for Fantasmic in May and it was so crowded. OH MY!!!!! I'm sure it won't be as crowded when you're there, but it sure did make a huge difference.

I absolutely LOVE the binders.

Hi! It's nice to see another September go-er on here! We are going at the beginning of Sept. though!

We have to see Fantasmic every time that we go. Do you have park hoppers? If not, then you may try to see if you can do some switching around..it really is amazing... We try to see it twice!

Have you tried the online ADR system. It is really easy to use and then you can see what availability is before you make any decisions. I have made tons of changes to my ADR's this time because it is so simple!

I am feeling your early pain about not too many subscribers....my PTR has a small few...I think the official TR's get more traffic, although yours is doing great! Have a fun trip!

Hi Tracy!

I go away a week and boy have you been busy!! Love all the fun Disney stuff you picked up for the kids...they'll love it. I was just at our Dollar Tree last night picking up some stuff for rewards here and found some great Disney stuff myself!!:thumbsup2 Love that store for that kind of stuff!!

We have done Fantasmic the last two trips with our boys and we love it. I love the music and that Mickey is a hero and that you get to see all the characters. It's a pretty cool show, I think. And a nice way to end the day at DHS in my opinion. Have you decided what you're going to do?

Have you checked out the online ADR system, some other DISers I know have found better times for things online than talking to a CM...may be worth the try at least for CP?

Let us know how you make out!! And btw, loved all the pics of your last trip of the kids, too cute! They are really getting SO big!!!! Hoe you're enjoying your Summer so far!!:goodvibes

thanks for the opinion on Fantasmic. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do about it. I think I might count it as a lost and a "something new" for the next trip but I'm not positive yet.

Thanks Kristen! They decorated them up themselves. This year I had covers designed for them but will have them decorate the backs.

:welcome:Hello! Thanks for coming along. We don't have park hoppers so that's a bummer. I hear that it is a great show but since I have so many other things crammed into this trip and so many firsts already I think I might have to leave it until next time.

I did check out the online thing. It just worried me not to speak to an actual person. I was able to get the morning CP that I wanted that way though. :thumbsup2

I'll come check out your PTR.

Hey Kristen! Yeah, love that dollar store.

Fantasmic has given me a big decision but I think I'm just going to have to leave it for a first for next time. :confused3

I did check out the online system and was able to get the morning CP I had wanted:thumbsup2

Our summer is going good so far. Hope yours is as well. It is flying by.

So sorry that once again I have been MIA. Here are the ADR's as they stand right now. So far there is only one that I can't decide between. As you will see I have two choices for our first time at CP. I started out thinking I definately wanted the early breakfast for the empty park view. When I couldn't get it at first though and got the lunch I had a lot of people tell me the lunch would be better anyway. I was able to book a breakfast online though so now I have to decide which one to cancel. If I do make it a breakfast I think I will have to change something else so we don't have too many meals that are big breakfasts. (changed Chef Mickey's to breakfast when couldn't get CP)

Ok, so that's what I have for now. PLEASE post any opinions as this is my first time with all of this I would love to hear them. Will post a regular life update soon. I have got to go to sleep

No worries on the delays between posts-you have 3 little guys to take care of and it's SUMMER - I bet you are busyyyyyy!!!!!! :goodvibes

Your ADRs do look really, really good! I was trying to imagine the schedule in my head - if there was too much traveling between the locations, or times, or something, but it really does look great to me! I've never eaten at quite a few of the places so I cannot give a food opinion. At Sci Fi, the food is kinda "eh", but people RAVE on the burgers, fries, and shakes. We are going back this trip just for that! :thumbsup2 But, of course, I have read some recent reviews of other food (ribs, sandwiches, etc) being pretty tasty there too. So maybe they have kicked it up a couple notches.

I look forward to seeing your GF photo shoot and the boys in their Pirate make-overs! (er...not a make-over, that's too girly! ;)) What a great idea to have it right before MNSSHP!

Thank you so much for understanding. Yes, we are quite busy around here. Thank you also for trying to imagine it in your head and helping me out. I could use all the help I can get, lol. Glad to hear you think it sounds good. I hope it all works out ok.

I can't wait to see the photo shoot and pirate league things myself. We were going to go as hippies for the party so we could dress up but not really have to wear costumes and be hot/uncomfortable for the party. My boys really wanted to be pirates though so we settled on pirates but simple pirates. We are all going to wear white tshirts with jagged edge sleeves and I have a design I might put on the front of them. Then black pants, probably like a sweat pant material, cut off jagged just below the knee. Then we will tie red fabric around our waists and drape down the side. We will have eye patches and an earing and maybe bandanas. They don't know that I signed them up for the pirate league thing so I am really looking forward to that being a good surprise for them and it will help them feel more "piratey".

Hi Tracy!

Your plans look great! You got some great ressies!!:goodvibes Love the pirate idea, simple and cute and very boyish, fun!!! I can't wait to see the pics!! Did you ever find out how much the GF photo shoot costs? I need to look into that more for my trip with my Mom and sister....I forgot about it until I just read your post, so thanks for the reminder. I hope you and the boys are having some fun this Summer, we're so thankful to see the sun this past week and getting out to the beach or yard for some fun. It's been a tough Summer here with all the rain we've been getting. 3 boys + rain = no good!!! As you well know! LOL!!:rotfl:

I'm a little late, but I'm in, too!! I don't always say alot, but I'll be reading :goodvibes

So excited to see the plans of others who are going around the same time as us! I need to compare your itinerary to mine and see if we're at any parks together.

As for your ADRs, I think they look great! You have some really fun stuff in there!

IMHO, I'd choose the CP lunch, but then, that's because we are NOT a big breakfast kind of family. We get up for the parks and get there, but we don't get up sooooo early to do sit down breakfasts. We use Disney transportation and that would make our mornings too early for me. I like using that time for touring before the crowds. I think you'll enjoy either, though! Not a bad choice to have to make ;)

The pirate costumes sound perfect! I think simple is smart. It's usually hot and you are walking around, getting on and off rides-simple is easier. Plus, it will still look great!

I'll be interested to see the pics from the photo shoot. I've heard about them and would perhaps be interested in booking one for the family in Feb....

Great work on the ADRs!

I think you spent less time on the phone than I did, my time was like an hour! Insane!

Love the pic updates of the boys, too cute!!

Hey Tracy!
It's been awhile...just checking on you and the boys!! Are you having a nice Summer so far? How is little Cole? Hope you're all well. Are you doing any more planning? Fill us in when you can!!!:goodvibes

Your PT report is really good. We are going the Sept.26th - Oct.4th and hope to see you there. :banana:I am like another Diser, I really don't think you will need more than one day at HS but you might, we have 3 kids and they are usually done in 1/2 day and don't want to go back. Also have you thought about the Pirate's League for the boys? This is only around $50 for the 1st package and I'm sure the boys would love it. I am sending you 2 different links and you can read about it.

I also meant to tell you that I love the matching shirts on your last trip. Did you make these yourself or order them? I would love some information on this.
